Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Looks can be deceiving.
This three bedroom home has undergone an amazing transformation. The original 1920's features have been enhanced to capture the authenticity of the home, whilst also providing modern conveniences of today.
And then there's that view. Offering 180 degree Easterly views of Launceston. There is no better spot to sit back, relax and take in tviews to the city.
The home offers two large queen size bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. New full modern kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. There is also free WIFI.
All that Launceston has to offer is within minutes of this property: Cataract Gorge; Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery; UTas Stadium to see an AFL game; Boags Brewery; parks & the CBD. Stroll to the regular Saturday morning Harvest Market, where you can enjoy all the finest produce Tasmania has to offer.
Or you can jump in the car and drive to the famous Tamar Valley wine region or the Northern Midland Villages.
This property is available for long or short term stays. Rates for long term stays are negotiable.
We look forward to you enjoying the TAG Collection.
Gorgeous older property with wonderful views from main rooms and verandah. Beautiful decor. Lots of heating, super comfy bed, fab bathroom with heated floor, small but useful kitchen. The garden was wild and magical with paths and shrubs/trees bursting into spring flower, cliff top views, so much to look at. Only negatives - hard getting in from the street with luggage, and no blinds on all windows except bedroom - a bit cold and caused loss of privacy/excess noise from busy city down below/street above. Overall loved it, v hard to leave!!
This gorgeous house has so much character but with modern amenities.
I slept in the large room which overlooked Launceston - the view is stunning.
The heat was turned on for us so it was cozy when we arrived.
One of the nicest touches was the underfloor heating in the bathroom...a small thing that makes a huge difference when its chilly.
A delightful stay, I recommend it and would definitely stay again.
So happy we chose to stay here. Every need is catered for, all the linen is luxe and high quality. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and the views superb. The heating was on for our arrival - thank you. Nice and close to town. What a privilege to stay here.
This home is beautifully presented with a great view over Launceston. The beds and couches are comfortable, with nice linen and kitchen well equipped. There is only one bathroom with the toilet and shower together so you need to take turns. It is very close to town a 5 - 10 min drive. If you can handle the hills, a 20 min walk to Cataract Gorge. Parking is on a skinny street and it wouldn't be appropriate for wheelchair access. We loved our stay.
We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house. The views of the township, the mountains in the distance and the Tamar river were absolutely spectacular. We walked everywhere even though the roads were quite steep on the way back but we feel fitter now. Quality sheeting, appliances, toiletries and furniture all enhanced the experience. A radio, some magazines, a barbecue and maybe a full length mirror would be good additions. The interior is beautifully renovated but the exterior is desperately in need of care before the wooden window frames rot away. We highly recommend this accommodation.
