i was allocated a room in an building seperate to the main hotel - located at the end of the lane. There is no lighting on the lane, after my evening meal in the hotel i had to navigate back to my room down a dark lane, full of potholes / puddles using only the torch on my mobile phone.

Asked if we could view the room before booking, but said we couldn't. Room was ok, but the kids bunk beds are in a cupboard without any window or ventilation. Soundproofing was non existent as the road noise was very loud and the neighbours. Other than that was ok, good water pressure and the beds were quite comfy

Overall my stay was good, the only thing I would criticise was the fact that the pillows were far too soft for me. The breakfast was to a very good standard, and was self service, so you had exactly what you wanted.

Perfect for what we needed it for which was a base to sleep. Plenty of parking, road was noisy but fine if you had windows closed. Air con was perfect as was very warm, beds were comfy. It was very clean but could tell it just needed a freshen up especially in bathroom. Staff were all very friendly, breakfast was okay - overall, great stay

Poor sleep-again

Quite a poor experience sleep wise and not for the first time. On my first visit my room backed onto the driving range so I was stopped from having a nap by the permanent rumble of balls. This time there was what sounded like a toilet pump running every two or three minutes at quite a volume for the entirety of my stay in the room to the extent where I couldn’t sleep On the plus side the restaurant food and service were very good indeed

Could have been superb. Really lovely location and helpful staff, the one thing that was disappointing were the mattresses, very saggy, clearly well used and uncomfortable, feels like a small thing but if you are sleep deprived on holiday it's not so much fun. Breakfast was lovely. Overall pretty good and the set up of the family rooms with the bunk beds separate to the double room is a great idea. Thanks ☺️
