Good location on the road to the volcano

Clément was very welcoming. The room was very simple but certainly adequate with all the basics, though the lighting could be improved. The evening meals were well-prepared and copious. The B&B is quiet and very well-located for visiting the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, which must be seen during any visit to La Réunion. I did feel that the health rules required by the pandemic were not adequately followed, and felt uncomfortable about that point.

The property was ok if you need a place to sleep but, definitely no more than ordinary. Breakfast was limited offering and there was not a lot of charm. Average is best I would give it.

Accueil assez étrange, froid et sommaire. On s'est rendu en revenant en début de soirée que la salle du séjour était fermée à clefs sans nous prévenir, nos clefs ne donnant accÚs qu'à la chambre. Bref, il y a tout pour mais on est loin du concept de la maison d'hÎte...

Escale idéale entre les 2 volcans

HĂŽte trĂšs accueillant et trĂšs arrangeant. Nous sommes arrivĂ©s vers 17h15, il Ă©tait encore possible de commander le diner pour le soir-mĂȘme. Repas partagĂ© avec les autres pensionnaires : grand moment de convivialitĂ©. Le lendemain, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans la chambre le temps de monter au Piton de la Fournaise.

À ne surtout pas y aller

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s Ă  15h30 il nous a fait remarquer que c’était 16 heures et il pleuvait le lendemain matin nous nous sommes rĂ©veillĂ© et nous avons dĂ©couvert que le parquet Ă©tait trempĂ© dans toute la chambre je suis dodo depuis un certain nombre de temps pour te fenĂȘtre qui ne fermait pas avec 2 cm de jours en dessous oĂč c’est gelĂ© petit dĂ©jeuner normalement servi Ă  7h30 Il Ă©tait huit heures on avait toujours pas dĂ©jeunĂ© et il nous a mĂȘme fait le reproche qu’on Ă©tait en vacances mais qu’on Ă©tait assez pressĂ© cela ne le regardait pas

À ÉVITER !

Bon emplacement pour les randos vers le volcan. Ceci mis Ă  part, la structure est vieillissante, non chauffĂ©e, mal isolĂ©e, et mal ventilĂ©e. On est Ă  plus de 1600 m d’altitude et il pleut beaucoup ! Bref, au bout de 3 nuits sur place, toutes nos affaires Ă©taient humides. Et on n’est pas dans une ambiance confortable de retour de rando . ClĂ©ment est tout sourire,
 Ă  condition d’accepter son systĂšme ; petit dejÂŽ Ă  partir de 7h30, mais en pratique, rien n’est prĂȘt avant 8h. Sympa quand il le ciel est bien dĂ©gagĂ© et qu’on n’a qu’une hĂąte, c’est d’aller au pied du volcan. ClĂ©ment vous expliquera que cela ne sert Ă  rien de partir tĂŽt ! Bref, Ă  Ă©viter, tant que la maison n’aura pas Ă©tĂ© rĂ©novĂ©e et que ClĂ©ment n’aura pas compris que c’est parfois Ă  lui de s’adapter aux besoins de ses clients.

TrÚs bon séjour chez Clément.

La nuit chez Clément a été bonne. Chambre propre avec le nécessaire. Le diner était bon. Clément est à l'écoute malgré un premier abord un peu "sec"
