A four wheel drive vehicle is mandatory if you are making a reservation anytime there is snow on the ground, which is usually around November 1st until sometime in March or April. While there is snow on the ground, there are absolutely no trailers allowed at the home. When there is not snow on the ground, or from about April through October, a 20' trailer is the maximum length you can bring, at your own risk.

The driveway is very steep and has a few switchbacks that make navigating a bit tough, and even harder with a trailer. If the weather brings ice, the driveway becomes impassable, and reservations will have to be cancelled as there is no way to get up the driveway. If the driveway is slick, getting down the driveway to the highway can become quite dangerous.

We may have to cancel or postpone a reservation due to snow or icy weather conditions, so please be aware of this weather related cancellation possibility if you are making your reservation anytime in the months of November through March.
