Bed and breakfast was great we was disappointed with choice for dinner not a lot of choice as we wasn’t given a specials menu but others did only after we had chosen but the rooms was very quiet and comfortable thank you

Another wonderful stay

Fantastic stay as always. Tom who booked is in so helpful and friendly. Our room super comfy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast this morning was so tasty, and Jess who was looking after us was lovely. The Talbot has a wonderful team of staff , nothing is too much trouble. . Sat and had a drink at the bar everyone by us so friendly . Atmosphere in the Talbot is relaxing and charming.

very friendly staff. the bedroom was clean and comfortable. the breakfast in the morning had many choices and my husband decided on eggs on toast and i had the eggs royale which we both enjoyed. some one had removed the tv control from the bedroom but reception replaced it but it still did not work but we were able to change channels on the tv itself. there was a mirror in the bathroom but none in the bedroom so it was difficult to use the hair dryer to see how to style your hair. these were minor points but will definitely book in the hotel again.

The Talbot Inn is old y worldly pub/hotel with plenty of character and atmosphere. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room had plenty of space and would meet many people’s needs with disability challenges. Very comfortable.

Good one night stay

Lovely old inn / hotel with lots of history. We had a good sized room with comfy bed and pillows. We had an evening meal in the bar which was good, service was great too. We did have an issue that the towel rail in the bathroom wasn't working. We reported this with the staff in the morning so hopefully it will be sorted for further guests. Breakfast was really nice , plenty of options on offer.

The staff were really friendly. Breakfast vegan options were excellent. The inn was interesting and in surprising good shape for its age. Parking over the street was easy - using the Ringo app you could add parking time from your room before the 8am starting time. Recommended!
