The property was very nice, clean staff very helpful and polite. Shout out to Melissa and Vanessa, im in a wheelchair and nothing was too much would use again. A plus for travel lodge
The staff were exceptionally friendly especially (Tony) in the breakfast room. Nothing too much trouble for anyone. Always smiling & very helpful on reception as we came in Wednesday night
Overnight stay to visit a concert at the Arena, very well placed, short walk to arena, Car Parking is via NCP Markets with discount offered to hotel guests.
I’d like to give a shout out to the staff that assisted me when I stayed going above and beyond with a smile on their face and having a laugh at the same time. The hotel itself was in a great location the room larger than average and great amenities! Fab all round
I've stayed in this Travel lodge before and found it ok but this time it was disappointing. The room was so basic, only one towel provided even though 2 of us were staying in the room and no glasses for water! There were also some hairs in the shower. The room looked very tired. The TV didn't work properly. We were staying on the first floor and the noise from the road was quite disruptive.
The positives were the free breakfast in the morning and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great as very central.
Don't think I'll stay there again though as though it was very reasonably priced it was just too basic.
It really is true you get what you pay for. The hotel was a bit dinghy, needed modernising and although the room was very spacious there was no bath, no phone to call reception for extra towels, no mat for the shower. Just a big disappointment. The area it was located felt very unsafe - even during the day. We have stayed in Leeds before around the Granary Wharf area, but thought we would give here a try. We won’t be returning.
Everything was great. Comfortable room with opening window for fresh air. Perfect location and friendly staff.
But wifi should be unlimited and free as most hotels we have stayed in around the world.
