We had a wonderful stay. We are so glad we chose this inn. The location is superb…a five-minute walk to the center of Lenox! It is a beautiful inn with a lot of charm, and the staff is warm and friendly. We loved our large room too! Definitely plan on staying here again when we come back to the area!

Whistler’s Inn

We love the Whistler’s Inn. Warm and engaging hosts. Full of amenities and ambience that are welcoming and harken back to another era. Convenient off street parking and walking distance to town and Kennedy Park with its many well marked wooded trails. Don’t hesitate to book a stay with them! My only wish is that they would consider the use of unscented laundry and cleaning products and provide unscented personal toiletry products. Then again, I wish that would be the case in almost all of the places we stay.

Check ok. I was given the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in . Sitting on the toilet my feet fell into the room. The bed was against one wall and the door opened about an inch away from the other side of the bed. Bathroom similarly tiny. Sub-sized wash basin and shower-tub. Avoid ‘captain’s room ‘ if you choose to stay there. Breakfast lovely. Lots of options. Charming woman in charge. Walking distance from downtown with good dinner restaurants. I Would stay again~~> just NOT in the same room.

Property was within walking distance of the beautiful downtown area of Lenox, MA and an easy commute to Tanglewood. However, I have stayed at several charming New England Inns such as the Mount Washington in NH and the Rabbit Hill Inn in Vermont. For me, this one was not at all charming. If you like to feel like you are staying in a museum, you may like this. Our room was literally 8x8 and the bathroom was a tiny pink tile monstrosity. I am 5 feet, less than 115 pounds and I had trouble sitting on the toilet. Wore my flip flops in the shower. Could not wait to leave. In fact, left at 7:30am without a shower or makeup on. I am sorry to the hosts for saying this, but when I re-read others’ reviews after wondering how I went so wrong with this reservation, I wish someone had told me this.

We were attracted to the overall ambiance of Whistler's Inn. A charming B&B that was nearby the main area of Lenox, as well as within shouting distance of many places of interest. Our main contact, Lisa, went out of her way to keep us informed about our upcoming stay, and then did so much to make us feel welcome. Our only "4" rating was due to the number of stairs we had to negotiate. Overall, don't hesitate to consider Whistler's Inn for your next Berkshires visit.
