This 4-bedroom house is perfect for your escape to Lexington. With 1 king bed and 5 queen beds, there's plenty of space for you and your guests to relax and unwind. The property offers a nice selection of amenities including an iron, heating, AC, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer and WiFi. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, bathtub, and shower for your convenience. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located home. Shopping and restaurants are only blocks away. Home is nestled on top a hill at the outskirts of Columbia, close and convenient to everything. Area attractions include Riverbanks Zoo, Congaree National Forest, Lake Murray and Eudora Farms (a drive-through Wildlife Safari Park). There are too many to list them all. Close to interstates 20, 26 & 77. BETTER THAN A HOTEL, and cheaper too!

This home worked out perfect for our family get-together. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family to sleep, eat, and spend time together. It was very easy to communicate with the host and they were very accommodating. The neighborhood was very nice and felt very safe. If we ever come back to visit, we would definitely stay again.

At first glance, everything seemed to be ok! A few hours into our stay, we noticed that the heat on the main floor was not working. As soon as we noticed it, we sent messages to the owner, but he was non-responsive for many hours. He sent over electric blankets late in the evening, about the time that we were going to bed. I was very upset at his lack of response and then ranted at me when I asked for a discount for not having heat in half the house, AN ESSENTIAL AMENTINITY, claiming that I was out of line and they went to all measures to help us. If responding after many hours, multiple messages, and phone calls and bringing us blankets (which he had no extra ones in the house) is going the extra mile, then I guess I'm out of line. I will not recommend this rental only because of the lack of communication and unprofessionalism of the owner.

It is very hard to critic perfection! From conversations via the VRBO app with the owner to departure we enjoyed the experience and definitely enjoyed our stay! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who's looking for perfection in South Carolina. Really and trully White Knoll Bungalow is my home away from home! P.S. If I had to rank the best part of this wonderful experiences, in my top two spots, number 1A. would be the property and number 1B would be the owner, who did a magnificent job from start to finish!

Very informative host with great communication. The property was is in a great location. We stayed for my son's graduation from basic training at Fort Jackson. The drive to the Fort was quick and easy. The beds here were also very comfortable.

The house itself rates 5 stars for comfort, amenities and thoughtful touches, although the upper floors are creaky and there are some signs of past water damage. The cleaning was pristine and the bedrooms' décor updated. Surprised after booking by the additional charge for a 6th guest in a house spacious enough for six full beds and tables seating for 14, but the location was ideal for bedding family (including 3 senior citizens) gathered from three states to celebrate an 80th birthday at our son's house (15 minutes away). Shopping and many other services a few minutes drive away. The host was quickly responsive to requests once we were in residence.Minus one star for the anxiety caused by receiving check-in details, including how to submit the required driver's license copy, only 7 days before our visit. Sensitive information had to be sent to a personal email. I was also to expect to be greeted at the door and evaluated for any undeclared policy violations before admission. I was finally issued a lock box code the day before since no "greeter" was available.

Our stay was very cozy with a lot of space quiet and no interruptions. The home was very neat clean and most definitely comfortable for us and the kids. We had everything that we needed. We wasn’t too far for any places that we needed to go. Most definitely will recommend renting this place for the weekend.

Good deal - got what we paid for.

Communication with Doran was always timely. The home was clean and spacious, beds were comfy for our tired bodies every night. Plenty of kitchen tools/pans for our needs. A couple of things weren’t fantastic, low water pressure, fridge got cold enough to be safe but barely, ice maker did not work and no ice cube trays, and master bed is a queen not king, but it was a great price for all it did have. If we had paid what most places were asking it would have been disappointing. I said you get what you pay for, but I do think we still got more than we paid for. Thanks, Doran, for a great stay.

2 of the 3 tvs had no internet service even after being unplugged!! 3 smoke detectors had no batteries!! There were ants in the kitchen They wanted us to make sure to empty all the trash cans that were in the house & it was pretty difficult when the outdoor trash can was COMPLETELY full! Essentials,were a very very bare minimal, Disappointing stay to say the least!

From June 3rd,2025 to June 7th, 2025 with and extra day. First off the home is beautiful spacious for a family with kids. Stores are not far walmart is just 6 min away. We came out for my step son Army Graduation which was 40 min out. The home needs a bit of update some water damage, toilet downstairs was broke upstairs door had a hole. When arrived the AC was not working contacted Doran and was given either a 50 for another stay or 1 more night at free cost at first i was going to choose the 50 for next stay but unsure how long before i come back so when i message Doran i was given 1 more night. So i was supper greatfull. I would suggest to have some back up blanket also exra toilet paper especially when is more that 7 in the hosue. Other than that the neighborhood is quiet the back yard i would also suggest to have a fly zapper. Doran explained all rules regarding the home as should. Thanks once again.

Great stay!

This property was as described and the accommodations were very comfortable. Communication was good, given that VRBO limits some forms of direct contact which can limit the response time. We were very happy with the stay and would recommend the property, especially as it is a great value for the cost.

Large group stay

The house was perfect for our stay. We were in town for a wedding. There was supposed to be 17 of us but wound up only being 13. Either way the house was plenty big enough to accommodate our stay and to not be cramped. 2 family room areas which also accommodated my grandkids entertainment needs versus my older group members. It allowed them to spread out. We enjoyed our stay

OVERALL A DECENT SPOT

We had booked this house to stay for my sons military graduation. Overall it was a great spot, not to far from the base and a nice little neighborhood. I also had great communication with the owner up to the point of actual check in. We checked in and everything was smooth, went to the store came back and went to sleep. The next morning the water had been turned off by the water company with a notice on the door stating as such. I had started to message the owner through the VRBO app with no responses. I had called VRBO and was given 2 contact numbers to which no one would answer or text back. I had also called the water company myself (from the notice with provided act # and address of the house) in hopes that they would turn it back on for us. It had been almost all day until I tried to call the owner again and someone answered. Was very upsetting and had put the 7 of us into a bit of a panic. Overall it was a decent spot, I will say that the lack of basic essentials, such as paper towels, trash bags, standard seasoning, was a bit of a downer. Its not ideal to go by those things that come in bulk and leave it or have to have space to pack it. I have never rented my own VRBO before, but have stayed in many on family vacations and most hosts have the basics provided as well as games for families to play etc. Again overall was a good stay and we had a roof over our heads with very comfy beds.
