“Hometown Hideaway” in the heart of Downtown Liberty Hill

Welcome to “The Texas Troubadour House”... This 100+ year old home is located in the heart of Downtown Liberty Hill. Our location puts you within walking distance to the main part of downtown that has wonderful food and brews and local events. We are a short drive to other local foodie places, wineries, breweries and local events, but far enough from the hustle of the big city life to relax and unwind. Our first guest, singer/songwriter, “Mr. Lone Star” himself, Dale Watson, gave our first review when he played a local Liberty Hill Festival. He says “My stay was like a vacation in the middle of my work week. Everything about the stay there, topped the usual comforts of home”.....

The owners have intertwined some of their favorite things in this home, which include real, traditional country music, history of the music that made “Music City”, and that Texas Honky Tonk Music sound. You will also be intrigued by the history of this house and this area!

This home only has a TV in the main living room and one in the patio area outside. Our goal is for people to check out from the daily grind and spend more quality time with each other or alone reading a good book. Maybe have a weekend retreat for writing or creating.. We love and appreciate tradition and traditional things!

“The Texas Troubadour House” features (interior)4BR, 2 full BA, living area, full dining area, large walk in showers, large walk in closets, country style kitchen, sun/sitting room, and a warm, relaxing environment. Outside, you’ll find the farmhouse feel on the porch, rocking chairs, large porch swing and the shade of the large pecan trees... We have another big swing to sit and have a glass of wine in the side yard, or have a glass of tea or a cold beer next to the fire pit. Host a BBQ at our patio while watching your favorite games on our outdoor TV, and playing a game of cornhole or have a writers/pickers round under the TX stars...

Whatever you come for, we hope you will enjoy your time and make memories that will last a lifetime!

This is the cutest house and they had it decorated beautifully for Christmas. Saved me time from having to do it myself. Old home but the renovations were well done. Our family was very pleased with their stay and its location couldn’t be better for us.We will definitely use them again when we need additional space for our-of-town family.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was very clean. That is a feature that is very important to me. I don’t enjoy cleaning before my family can use the house. Heart of small town Texas

This house is very comfortable for a multi-couple or extended family gathering. We had family come to attend LHHS graduation and enjoyed having the ability to hang out together, cook family meals, play cards, walk to a local coffee shop and lots more.

We loved this unique house! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the backyard amenities. We were there for our grandson's birthday so couldn't spend too much time at the house but while we were there, it was very comfortable. My granddaughters 9 and 12 loved that they didn't have to share a bed! Thank you, Emily Ann, for a great stay. Hoping to come back again.

Family Wedding Gathering

Beautiful old house, lots of character and charm. Decorated in wonderful fall decor! Host goes above and beyond to make the house feel like home. Highly recommend if you have any reason to stay in Liberty Hill. I would book again if ever a need and give this property 5 stars!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

Big friend group had two houses in the area, the yard was perfect for a bbq picnic, where the kids could run around while the ladies relaxed on the enormous porch, and the fellas cooked. Quiet at night, with plenty of space for everyone who was sleeping there. Great spot with the cutest little shop across the street and splash pad around the corner!

Wonderful Hill Country Home

This was a lovely house with lots of room for a family gathering. We truly loved our time here and enjoyed being able to walk to the main street of Liberty Hill and the sculpture garden at the near by school! We would love to come back sometime!

Great for large families

This is a really cute and comfortable place. Loved all the special touches and added fall decor. Great location in the heart of Liberty Hill. We used this as a base for a close by rehearsal dinner and wedding. It was very comfortable for 4 couples. The only drawback was there was major construction all around the house and road closures. Google was very confused and it was difficult to find it and navigate with all the construction right in front of the house. And it’s VERY dark out there! Very difficult at night. Also take note that the front bedroom is right on the street and the traffic noise and constant headlights kept that couple up until after midnight and then woke them early each morning. A blackout shade would help tremendously. And, you may want to bring a sound machine!

Perfect Location and Amazing Attention to Detail

The property is perfectly located close to everything the beautiful little town of liberty Hill has the offer. The house was well stocked with attention to detail. Country Comfort

Came down for a wedding and found this home near the wedding venue. The home is very inviting and laid out very well. Plenty of room and comfort in the main living area with plenty of room for 8. Location is very good and quiet for sleeping. Enjoyed BBQ from Agape BBQ and loved the boutique (Main Street Marketplace) across the street with free frozen margaritas. We would definitely stay again!
