It was good but internet service was not great, kept going in and out. Rainy day prior so weather could have affected things

Nice hotel

Posted Aug. 11, 2016 on Expedia
Superb hotel especially if on a business trip. Very clean, well prepared food, reasonable internet connectivity. Generally a bit on the expensive side and the gym is definitely wanting. The staff were otherwise friendly and room service was always prompt and is 24/7. It is also quite close to supermarket which allows you to shop for your own drinks, even food which can be stored in the refrigerator in the room and food heated in the microwave also in the room

A few stars short

Posted Dec. 13, 2014 on Expedia
Pros: The location is quite good for the airport, although the road to the airport is usually gridlocked.
Cons: more attention to basic functionnality, including bathroom, shower and airconditionning. Restaurant can also be improved.
Location: Location not convenient for beach and is noisy from aircraft, being on the landing path for the aircraft. Not much to do nearby, more for business
We made a group booking for a business trip and were quite disappointed with this hotel. It is quite expensive and therefore one expects a higher quality and fonctionnality. While fairly new, there were several things not working (en panne) as well as should be for this price range. Por example, no mosquito nets in the bed rooms. Not so healthy as plenty of mosquitoes in the hotel (especially in lobby area) and we were bitten several times at night. The mosquitoes are not good in this part of the world. The shower temperauture could not be adjusted from very hot setting. Also, the bathrooms smelled like third world drain smell. Don't eat of the restaurant - the food is not so good as the place over the road, which is also better and cheaper. The Nomad is not a 4 star hotel.

Great Hotel

Great hotel, Good service, however, Gym has been a big let down for such a hotel. No treadmill (This standard of hotel, one would expect a very good Techno gym Treadmill) and other equipments were not even working, They need to improve on the same

Very nice hotel (but also very expensive...)

Posted Apr. 16, 2014 on Expedia
Pros: Supermarket next to the hotel (50m) + use of the kitchen in the room (10,000XAF/day)
Location: Close to the airport and the new US embassy (meaning far from the town center)
Brand new hotel, with very nice & clean rooms. Nice swimming pool. Very expensive restaurant.

Hôtel charmant mais un peu loin

Posted Apr. 25, 2018 on Expedia
Location: Pas grand chose !
