The bedroom was large although the room we booked had double bed.. when we arrived couldn’t get in as was not sent an email for over an hour and was only two single beds
So was a little disappointed.. it stated shared bathroom didn’t realise with the whole of the hotel ☹️

I have stopped here a few times, and even though it’s on a corner of a main road and a side street it is pretty quiet with off road parking.
The room is comfortable, the issues this stay were, their was no coat hangers (minor issues but annoying never the less), and it could do with some maintenance, the bathroom shelve and toilet holder was not secure. Last time I stayed the kitchen was well equipped, but this time, there was no dinner plates and not one fork.
If they sort these issues out then I will gladly stay again.
Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me.
Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking.
I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend.
I had a terrible experience with Hamilton during my stay. The room is infested with bedbugs and i didn't know that. They gave me that room and did not tell me anything. Initially I booked the room for two nights from 16th to 18th and had to vecate the property in the middle of the night on the 16th itself due to bedbugs bights. I requested them for the refund as basically it is cheating after charge your money. But I did not get my refund. Management initially responded they cannot provide a refund, it is their policy. After many phone calls they responded last as they have to check the room even after I sent them all the video proof on that same night. Still today is 23rd and no update yet. Even the Hotels.com team won't be able to do anything regarding this matter. You lost your money, that is all..
I would never recommend Hamilton hotel to anyone in future. PLEASE DEAR FRIENDS, DO NOT BOOK A ROOM IN HAMILTON IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS SCAM.!!
Booked the night before and it cost me £40 for one night. Very easy check in and room was spacious. Kitchen and bathroom were clean.

I really enjoyed my night at this facility. It is close to the city and on my road. It's really nice and quiet around there and my room was spacious and clean. The only thing that wasn't working is the hook on the bathroom door, that needs fixing.

Getting to the hotel was difficult as there were road works right outside the hotel and road closure. I called ‘simply stay’ and they said they can’t help and that I should call hotel.com.
Eventually I parked on the road, some distance away and walked to the hotel with my bags.
On entering the room, it was freezing cold. The bathroom light wasn’t working. I again called simply stay. They said someone would come and check. 45mins yes later, when I one had arrived, i called simply stay again. They said the person was on the way and he arrived shortly after that. He couldn’t get the room heater to work. He eventually got a portable heater(the first one wasn’t working but the second one was). He also got the bathroom light working.
It was midnight before he was done and I was finally able to get to sleep.
I just add that this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with the heater in room 12 in Hamilton hotel and I’ve reported it each time.

Mouldy shower head in Room 2.
Replace the filthy mould-ridden shower head in Room 2
Grand old Victorian property. tastefully decorated and modernised. Quiet and comfortable. Value-for-money absolutely terrific. Easy access and parking.
The room has this fowl smell and the bathroom is not so clean, the beddings were okay and the parking area was totally unkept
