Decent lodgings in the Alfama neighborhood. The tram and alley noise was charming, but the building is not very soundproof and the movement of neighbours upstairs was quite noticeable. The property might consider an upgraded coded system for late check in, check out, and easier front entrance.

The location is excellent! The property was clean and well maintained. We didn’t except it to be in the basement so it felt like being in a cave. The walls/ceiling in our case were very thin and the people above us were up at all hours stomping around and moving furniture for that reason alone we would not stay again.

Love Almamoura Residence, location is right in the heart of Alfama. Very comfortable duplex apartment with lots of space. The only thing missing is a safe to keep your valuables in.

Excellent location, property in great condition, super helpful host. Only recommendation would be to allow the door to the property to be locked with a key on the inside - when we stayed it could be opened without a key from the inside so a child could just open the door by pulling the handle down.

Our stay was just what we needed. The apartment was very clean & spacious. Antonio was very helpful & gave is some recommendations for eating out. We loved the central location, within a short distance of excellent coffee shops etc & 100yds fromTram 28 stop.

Alma Moura is in an excellent location s. Vincente church is nearby and an excellent location to pick up or drop off from an Uber or cab ride, without blocking the trams going by. The residence is right on the number 28 tram line.You can not go wrong by staying here excellent location

How does this look? Excellent experience with servicebeyond expectations. When I travel, I want a place that’s restful but close to what’s interesting. The Hotel Alma Moura is in a quaint neighborhood far enough away from the touristy areas but close enough to walk to everyplace you’d want to visit. The apartments are in a courtyard separated from the streets, so quiet that all you can hear is the occasional rumbling of the antique tram passing nearby. My room was thoroughly modern, with a fully-equipped kitchen, spotless bathroom, an incredible amount of storage and shelf-space—perfect for a long visit. I can honestly say it was the most comfortable apartment-style hotel that I’ve stayed at. While there is no front desk, the staff were incredibly understanding and sent somebody to check me in when I arrived unexpectedly after a transportation snafu. Everybody was responsive to my questions and inquiries and did everything possible to make my stay memorable. Highly recommended.
