Luxury Stargazing Glamping Dome near Littleton - Lake Gaston, NC!

Experience a geodesic glamping dome stay in a private pasture, 15-minute drive to Lake Gaston, Kerr Lake, and Medoc Mountain NC State Park. Wake up to the sound of birds and fall asleep under a blanket of stars. This unique glamping dome offers the perfect blend of tranquility and nature adventures. Unplug and reconnect with your family by staying in a dome home surrounded by trees overlooking a pond. This tiny off-the-grid getaway is 70 miles from Raleigh NC and 90 miles from Richmond VA.

Fire pit wood is limited per stay please bring extra bundle. BBQ grill requires charcoal utensils which are not provided. The fridge will be ready to receive any food items that you want to bring for the mini vacation. This is glamping outdoors extra insect wristbands and off spray make the experience of nature more enjoyable.

Once you reserve, we will request a message verification that you have read the entire About Space details to confirm the GlampingNC-OfftheGrid experience is right for you prior to check-in!

We are a no smoking farm stay! No smoking on/in the property during your stay thanks to all our guests in advance!

About the Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi is limited even with Starlink RV system. Guest will have the Wi-Fi password inside the dome upon arrival. T-Mobile, Verizon, and other networks have limited reception so plan ahead as we are an off the grid experience. Disconnecting is part of the adventure!

Each guest will have access to private parking area and wooded walkway, dome, deck area, fire pit, barbeque grill, hammock, and 3-acre pasture with pond.

Entrance codes will be shared to guests on the day arrival.

Guests will receive entrance codes for the private parking pad, gate after walking bridge, and dome red door.

Once you park in the private gravel parking area, guest can use our cart to haul all your glamping getaway items from the parking area through the wooded entrance and pasture to the dome. The dome is approximately 500ft away from the private parking area.

This off the grid glamping experience begins at the private parking area! Come explore nature and unplug for a glamping getaway!

This was such a neat experience. The description of the property was excellent. Everything was as described. Our kids had an amazing time and the stars were beautiful. They had more than we expected. All of the beds were comfortable and warm.

Some aspects were so great in this adorable glamping pod! The bed is comfy, the surrounding are good to unwind. Check in was easy. The list of appliances, supplies and perks make it easy to pack because it seems like everything is provided! BUT, for us, things weren’t stocked or working. The microwave didn’t work at all. Thankfully we didn’t bring micro meals! The Glacier water cooler gave us one cup of water then ran out. Some of the cooking utensils were dirty. There were great options for lighting around the pod, but none of them worked. But there were 2 nice lamps by the bed so it was fine. But a basket of batteries to be able to use what is provided would be nice. There is a sign with WIfi password on it but it never worked. Since service is bad, a post of checking out instructions would be helpful since I couldn’t look at my messages about the rules. I think with a few more tweaks this place would be a 5 star and worth the price. For us it was a little steep. But we really did need the quiet time by the fire and great sleep so we are happy!
