A nice hotel for a fair price

Very nice lake view. The room was nice and clean. The food at the restaurant was good, service was very very very slow and even forgot one of the dishes. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was very bad, no espresso machine available

I was lucky to have a side lake view it was pleasant looking at the lake. Once the building works finishes it shobe great. The building works did not impact me. I am a lady solo traveller and felt safe,everywhere is an easy walk. Breakfast was nicely presented.

I stayed for 3 nights only clean room once , asked for slip mat, had to pick up myself next day , breakfast was good evening was bad , don’t know how to cook steak , friends came over next day and had tea , and same issue … but the hotel it’s self was a good place to stay ..

Love this hotel but decided to give the restaurant another chance after the last few times were okay, the restaurant was empty so they sat us down straight away then left us 40 minutes with no menus, we had to tell them we had been sat for 40 mins and considering we are regulars it’s just not acceptable. Food below average again. Pizza was all black underneath and just tasted of charcoal. Reception staff lovely and helpful especially Jean. But the restaurant staff service is horrendous needs drastic improvement. Love the rooms though and the hotel. The restaurant just needs big improvement as it could be amazing. The menu is terrible too needs a complete change.
