Amazing accommodation and friendly owners
We stayed here for 2 weeks and have nothing but praise for Liljana and Ivan - the owners of the property. They were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Ivan keeps the grounds well tended with blooming flowers and shrubs. Liljana looks after the apartments and they are clean and well furnished. There are only 4 apartments and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The slide was good fun and Ivan was pleased that my husband and I used it too! Our apartment had it's own driveway with entrance gate, private patio area which was covered with trailing vines and kiwi fruit plants. We had an airer and 2 long washing lines which gave us plenty of space to dry our towels. There is a washing machine which is free for guests to use. The air conditioning was a godsend at the end of the holiday when the temperatures soared, but the rest of the time we did not need it as the shutters on the windows kept things cool inside.
The accommodation is situated on the Medulin side of Liznjan. Liznjan has 2 supermarkets in walking distance - one is only 5 - 10 minutes walk, the other about 15 minutes. The bakery and a couple of reasonably priced restaurants are also in walking distance. Medulin harbour is about a 30 minute walk away - mostly on pavements and past houses and then restaurants and shops.
We only hired a car for 3 days and the rest of the time hired mountain bikes. This meant we could cycle to the beach, into Medulin and the shops with ease. We also cycled around the tracks along the coastline to the south. You will need a mountain bike as most of the roads off the main road are unmade tracks.
The little beach in Liznjan is perfect for families as it doesn't shelve too deeply. We were there with teenagers and they enjoyed the inflatable assault course in the sea. There are also pedaloes and SUPs to hire as well as sun loungers and beach umbrellas.
We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in Croatia.
