Comfy, good value hotel.

Comfortable hotel on Llandudno Sea front

We had a lovely 3-night stay at The Marine Hotel. Our double room was basic but clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed our breakfast - very good quality and plenty of choice - superb! Also, we had a swim in the indoor pool one afternoon, which was refreshing on a hot summers day. One slight downside was the lack of on-street parking around the hotel. We parked for free on-street on Abbey Road (about a third of a mile away). I would stay again at this hotel for a budget seaside break. Would recommend.

Family room in hotel basement. A very hot couple of days, room was cool, comfortable and spacious. Excellant shower! Facility’s are basic, food options minimal but decent, breakfast good, all staff Excellant. Entertainment fine. Right on the promenade so very accessible to beach front, pier etc. a reasonably priced not fancy establishment that was clean.

This is our ‘go to hotel’ in Llandudno, had over 12 trips to the Marine Hotel now. Food (breakfast and evening meal) was great, the hotel is always very clean and the staff can’t do enough for you. Yes the building is old, was squeaky floorboards but what be you expect for a building a few hundred hundred years ol

Friendly reception and bar staff. Hotel is a bit faded, but it offers a full service - housekeeping, restaurant, bar, bar meals.. and the best bit is the indoor swimming pool. Amazing - it's huge and quiet....

So so.......

This hotel is clearly in need of some modernisation and a lick of paint! Visually, the interior of the hotel needs a lot of work. Ive read many reviews complaining about how dirty and small their rooms were. This is one thing i couldnt actually complain about as our room was a decent size and clean. We were a bit in the basement and not where most of the other hotel rooms were situated but that didnt bother us. We used the pool in the morning. Again, this is quite dated but we enjoyed our morning dip! The 2 day stay was adequate for us but dont think id stay here again.

Condition of hotel was of a low standard.First room offered was in need of a compleate refurb.moved to second room which was a little better. On reflection dont think i would stay again unless major overhaul of hotel had been compleated.
