Everything was amazing about the stay, incredible communication. The only thing was I wish the place was cleaner, as we found a lot of dust, and dirty areas, and the seals on the doors were definitely worn down, but other than that beautiful property and amenities.
We loved the location of the property and the hot tub and fire pit were a bonus. The Double Stack is very private and secluded, clean, and stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Itâs about 15 minutes from restaurants/ shopping and 30 minutes from hiking attractions. The owner is very responsive and we had no issues with communication. We would highly recommend this property.
We had a great weekend. There was plenty of space for two adults and two dogs. We didnât bring our son but there would have been plenty room for him too. Everything was clean and working and the setting was very serene and pleasant.
The Double Stack was super cute and perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband. The property was cute and well thought out. There were a couple of minor repairs and things that need fixing; the upstairs lights didnât work at all (except the bathroom), a few downstairs lightbulbs were burned out, and the coffee maker didnât work. However, those are minor inconveniences. The host pretty much has everything you need there except food. The 3 different levels of outdoor seating/areas was really nice. The hot tub was perfect and relaxing. Iâd recommend to a friends for sure!
I had to book this when my other plans were canceled last minute. The host was very accommodating and communicative. We loved the space, especially outside. The inside was very cute and cozy. While this place is pet-friendly, they really need to work on cleaning up after the pets leave. There was a ton of fur from another dog (not ours) on the ground, throws, and sofa. There was also thicker black fur from another animal in the area rug that stuck to my damp shoes when we were leaving - it was so much that I had to rinse them off.
Our only other negative was how loud the generator was. It woke me up several times, so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to bring earplugs.
Otherwise, the property was great! There's a second cabin next door, but far enough away that you still have a ton of privacy. We had the best time chilling in the hot tub in the snow. Definitely pack food - it's not easy to head to town to grab things in bad weather.
