Summary:

Beautiful two bedroom duplex apartment with plenty of natural light and a balcony overlooking the city. The flat occupies the three top floors of an old victorian house in Whitehall Park. It offers a calming, luxurious atmosphere thanks to a generous layout and high quality facilities. You will be greeted by my lovely co-host Alex Brooks.

Guests with less than 5 reviews require prior approval to confirm the booking.



The Space:

All sash windows are double glazed and the whole flat has dimmable Philips Hue lighting and a Nest thermostat.



Archway & Highgate tube station are less than 15mins walk away and there's the excellent Tarn Bakery, The Shop On The Hill and Wine Connection right next to the flat.



Crouch End village and all its great restaurants and shops are just a short walk away and both Highgate and Finsbury Park can be accessed via the wonderful Parkland Walk.



Please note that the stairs to the loft are 6ft4 at the lowest point and the door to the w/c in the loft is just over 6ft.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Generally the place will be good. There were a few snags that did not feel great. I asked our host if there would be AC and he said yes, this was one of the hottest weeks in London and my traveling partner had requested AC and I did some research to make sure that was doable . Normally not a big deal, but he has compromised health. When we arrived only one bedroom on the 3rd floor had AC. When I asked about this the host said to keep the bedroom door open to help cool things off. The stairs into the flat were obviously still being finished there were nails sticking up. The interior living area rug was very dirty. There was one drinking cup and no plates in the apartment. The 2nd floor bedroom had no working overhead light, but there was a switch that didn't work. I think that was still being repaired. I do not know what to say, this could have been prevented by just telling the truth. Now I don't feel the VRBO places are truthfully presented or vetted.
