Room was spotless, and pretty aesthetic, but not the most space efficient. Feels smaller than 16sqm due to the layout. Good location very near the tube station there was only one towel in the room when we arrived, we asked for one more, but none was given in the 3 nights we were there. We asked for the bin to be emptied but it was never emptied as well

Hello. we are a father and my 24 years old son back to london after 12 years... we took the 2 bedrooms apartment for 9 nights. That's very important . They have only one of that kind of apartment at this hotel. This is a very good air-conditioning plus 48meters with 2 large beds when only 1 sleeps on its one bed . Thats the reasone i chose that appartment . Very good coice. The comfortable beds .the air-conditioned flat and large space and dining table in the middle betwin the 2 bedrooms . One has a door. The other has a curtain to close. The staff was very friendly. The location is amasing and very close to aldgate east underground station. It's a new building and new facilities including the lights . The t.v and the usb socets all around . The only down side was the poorly maintenance of those staff . Some of the furniture and kitchen facilities are not proper maintained. After calling the maintainer guy several times they were fixed . But it should be that way . All others things are excellent. We both loved our stay . Especially the beds ... 🛌

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this location and won’t be coming back - the staff are unprofessional, snooty and just lack any level of understanding that they are in the service business. The rooms are extremely dark, I guess it’s not cool to have a well lit room so you can apply makeup comfortably.

I’ve previously stayed at Locke hotels in London and Manchester, so I knew that I’d have a great stay. I was somewhat surprised at the reviews though after booking, as there’s a big disparity between the reviews here and at their other properties. To comment on some of these: 1. Space: I was travelling solo, but this would have been ample for my husband and I for a couple of nights. There is hanging space, ‘worktop’ space to put things on, and the bathroom is a really good size. 2. It is very dark in the rooms! This was only an issue for putting on make up. There are no bright lights which can be aimed at any mirror, and there’s a film over the windows for added privacy which affects the light. Again, only an issue for make up. 3. A few reviews said that the apartments are not well maintained, but I found it to be extremely clean and no scuffs etc. 4. The bed is so comfortable and there is no noise! I slept so well, and this is very rare for me. It’s also completely dark in the room due to blackout curtains which was great. 5. The location is fantastic. You’re just a couple of minutes’ walk from Aldgate, and can walk to Spitalfields/Brick Lane in 15-20 minutes. Liverpool Street is around 15mins walk away, and well connected. Especially good if you are looking for an accessible station with the Elizabeth Line. Overall, the reviews made it sound somewhat unappealing(!) but this certainly wasn’t my experience. Great location for a solo traveller too.

The room was very tastefully decorated, and it had a fully functioning kitchen. My only complaint was that you could hear people, as well as the elevators. Also there was a green light on the roof that couldn't be turned off—it was annoying to sleep with.

The rooms ARE small, but they are comfy, VERY well equipped, clean, and the location can't be beat! The bed is especially comfortable and the shower is amazing. We do wish we were able to adjust the air con on our own, but we were there during a heat wave. We would definitely stay there again.
