EntrĂ©e trĂšs Ă©troite et mitoyenne.Tapis trĂšs trĂšs sale, appart trĂšs sombre ( mĂȘme quand le soleil est prĂ©sent), pas de verre Ă  vin ou champagne, couverture pour cacher le divan sale,bouilloire graisseuse,chambre trĂšs petite et sombre.Dock tape sur le sol pour sĂ©parer salle de bain et salon etc. Nous avons payĂ© le tout pour 7 jours et n'y sommes pas restĂ©. Avons demandĂ© compensation mais proprio a refusĂ©. Avons trouvĂ© un autre endroit sur Airbnb, avons perdu notre premiĂšre journĂ©e de vacances avec tout ça. Les photos ne montrent pas la rĂ©alitĂ© des lieux ! Proprio dit que c'est tachĂ©???

Really nice place to stay for a London adventure! Pros: location - quiet, secure, away from the crowds of major streets but still close to Underground and lots of pubs and other necessities on Fleet Street. Bonus being so close to the Samuel Johnson house - great little museum - if you stay here don’t miss it!Amenities - nice amount of space for two people - bed was comfortable, having refrigerator and washing machine very helpful. It was cold in London during our stay but the space heaters kept us nice and toasty. Customer service - check in was easy and well documented, check out a breeze, timely and responsive when we had a little trouble hooking up to the WiFi. Unit was clean when we arrived. Cons: mostly little nitpicky stuff - it’s not the most modern space, a little run down. Although there are windows, they mostly face a courtyard so don’t expect bright natural light. The WiFi password was not up to date but we were able to scan the QR code on the router and were able to get service. There was no cutlery in the kitchen, which was a bit of a surprise - maybe it was hidden somewhere? No usable closets or hangers, which on rainy days was a bit of an inconvenience. It seemed the owners haven’t really been keeping a close eye on things lately, but the space was good and the location terrific.Overall we really liked staying here and would recommend for anyone who wants a cozy place to stay in London.

We arrived at the apartment at 16:30 (check-in is promised at 15:00) and the key was not in the lockbox. I contacted the host and after a few minutes, was told they'd look into it. Apparently the housekeeping staff was still working. I was told they'd come down and unlock the door. We waited 10 minutes and no one came so we had to contact the host again. Put on hold again to find out why. Housekeeping finally came down 5 minutes later. The apartment was filthy. Stains on the carpet, couch, and very very small. The pictures mis represent the size. And, housekeeping wasn't anywhere near finished. We had to rush to get to a concert that night. We told the host we were leaving and they pleaded we stay. We said we didn't have time to wait so got a hotel nearby. The staff was very pleasant to work with, but this was unacceptable. The apartment should have been ready for us by 15:00! - or sooner. I was issued a full refund without penalty, as expected, but had to incur a 35 pound Uber ride and hassle of finding a hotel.

Great location

Communication was well organized and professional with videos showing all details needed. The location is great but initially a little difficult to find as it is in a pedestrian alley way. Our uber was challenged but got us close and we then had to find our own way. We were in daytime so not an issue but if dark it would have not been as easy or comfortable. The apartment is good but the one issue is that carpet is dirty and stuck with tape between the living room and bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped, bedroom is small but all that is needed.It was all good as the location is outstanding and quiet.

This flat is very clean and in a good location. It is in an area with good transportation and only about 1 mile from Convent Gardens. It is perfect for two people. The communication with Joivy was excellent. We would stay there again.

Although the location is PERFECT & it suited our needs just fine, we were disappointed with this place for the following reasons:- stains on the carpet- garbage disposal broken- cracked glasses that leaked- hair dryer overheated, then shut down while in use- hot water For showers was very limited- slow drain In bathtub- foldable shower door was useless with failing plastic strip & only going half way closed causing leaks- no outlet in the bathroomThis place is in desperate need of an update & maintenance! We felt as if we were visiting our son’s college apartment. Didn’t feel like a vacation home at all like a VRBO is supposed to be. We will stay elsewhere next time in London.

Lovely flat and a great neighborhood

Above all, I appreciate how promptly and thoughtfully you stayed in touch with us throughout the process of booking as well as throughout our stay. The flat is very cute and comfortable. I have two suggestions: please make instructions more readily available for the use of the appliances. We ended up not using any of them because we just weren't sure how they worked. Also, please provide more towels if possible. Otherwise, it's a wonderful place. Constant communication makes everything so much easier. In particular, please accept my warm thanks for letting us check in early and check out late. That was such a huge help.

Mostly positive

First the positive....the flat was very centrally located so we could walk to many of the sites. Other than the carpet needing cleaning, it was in very good shape, very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. They only left 1 towel each, and with the washing machine out of use that was a bit hard for a week. Could have used an extra towel. The neighborhood and flat were very quiet and away from a lot of tourist traffic. That said, it was in a part of the city where most everything closes down by 5 and on weekends, so it was hard to find a place to eat that was open past 7. We loved the pub Punch down the street though. The rental company was incredibly available all day, after hours and very responsive, have to give them a lot of credit for their availability. We had some problems with the washing machine that were ongoing and made it difficult to use, and for several days we did not have hot water. But they were on it, had ordered a part and it was fixed. We wouldn't rent again mostly because of the location....we would have preferred more options to do things in the evening nearer to home after a long day out. But we would go with this company again.

Charm and convenience

This apartment is a gem located in a very quiet courtyard near a multitude of historical sites, good eateries, coffee shops, and pubs, with several tube stations within walking distance.. Well-furnished and nicely decorated. There is no view out the windows but plenty of light. Some may not like having to pull their luggage 50 feet from the nearest drivable lane, or climbing several short flights of stairs. We love the Fleet Street area and were very pleased with our accommodations.

Interesting location as you plunge down an alley off Fleet Street. Lots of historic pubs and churches in Fleet Street and, of course, St Pauls. Comfortable property (two flights of stairs) with all amenities.

Fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for exploring the city of London. Walking distance to lots of great sights (St Pauls, Covent Garden etc) so we didn’t use public transport at all. Very comfortable apartment, great shower, cosy bedroom and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home or just use it as a base for exploring.

Access to new International Dispute Resolution Court

Well located off Fleet St. 1/2 mile to several express shops and pubs, the best pub by far was Punch! Underground access is 1/2 mile, cabs are plentiful. Flat was very clean. Prior tenant broke coax connection. Had a new TV Monday! Use Gough Square as a locator for cabs. The flat is behind Samuel Johnson’s house.

Quiet location in central London

Situated in a lane near St. Paul’s convenient for walking everywhere or getting the tube or the river boat (Thames Clippers). Good size for two people with space to relax. Comfortable bed.

Perfect London Getaway!

The management company was incredibly helpful and easy to contact. They were on-site waiting for us to arrive and gave us a tour of the property. The apartment was clean and had every amenity we could have asked for. The location was perfect, right in central London. Could not have asked for anything better.

Great location and comfotable

The owners were nicely accommodating about our morning arrival, including the 2 hours delay to get through customs. The location is on Fleet St, and about a 5ish min walk to Blackfriars station and lots of busses right out the door. We took the tube a lot and even the far end of the line to get to the Designer Outlet/Wembley stadium was 40 mins. There is an awesome French pastry bakery right there. The bed was comfy for both of us (a rare event) and a few minor issues were very quickly responded to. Loved the reclining sofa at the end of a long day of walking off the pastries. It was a wonderful week.
