Cool place

Brilliant short break, cool area, amazing location if you want to be in the thick of it and out of the west end… staff were fab, hotel bar was excellent… dog friendly too if you call ahead (though we were pooch-less this time around). Couldn’t recommend enough. Our room was on the interior, but lovely, nice size and the in room entertainment was brilliant.

Mama Shelter in Shoreditch is a great place to stay! The rooms were quiet and clean, the restaurant on the ground floor was great and convenient. The hotel is within walking distance from many forms of transportation and other nice restaurants and pubs. Overall would recommend and would stay there again.

Restaurant was great! Staff very helpful. Both of our rooms had bathrooms without separate shower. The shower was just a curtain that blocked the sink from getting wet but otherwise the whole bathroom was the shower. I would not stay in that room again. I also wish there was tissues, shampoo and conditioner in the room.

Only stayed for one night, room was exactly what we needed, great for the price on a bank holiday weekend. 10 minute walk from tube. Easily walkable from Shoreditch or Hackney. Staff friendly and more than accommodating when making a change to our booking. Bar/restaurant area excellent

I had a two night stay in Mama shelter Shoreditch and had the best time. My double room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed including lovely big towels, a powerful hairdryer and a king size bed that was comfortable and soft. The room was playfully decorated and appealing to be in, just like the rest of the hotel. The restaurant and bar were clean, comfortable and relaxing and the food menu had something for everyone, from small plates and salad through to burger and chips. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs. Happily recommend Mama shelter, easy to get to from Bethnal Green Tube station and in an interesting part of east London.
