I had to call reception 3 times to ask for my complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, to be told only on the 3rd occasion, they did not have any sparkling wine and offered red (which i dont drink) and then eventually got a bottle of Rose which we had already waited so long for it felt embarrassing to keep asking. As though we were cheap - No aircon in the room although reception said 'we had been given a better room' it was, from what I could see, the exact room level i booked (superior double) - Knats everywhere in the hotel, particularly in the room where i was bitten overnight over 10 times (can provide images). Disgusting. - Went to the spa having prebooked treatments for my partner and I. The add on treatments were not available because their website had apparrntly not been updated. The sauna was not working and the drilling and banging was taking place throughout our entire massage, right next door. The lockers in the womens changing room did not work and there was a managers meeting happening right outside the womens changing rooms (2-3pm on Friday 14th Nov) When complaining to Adriana the manager on duty, she has offered us a 'complimentary upgrade and free breakfast' on our next stay and mentioned she is limited in what she can offer as compensation because we booked through expedia and not direct with the hotel. This was absolutely not a 5* experience and I would never want to waste more money to stay again just to get a free breakfast. Extremely insulting
