What a wonderful suite. We were very impressed by the size and amenities in our Premium 1 BR Apartment. Much larger than we thought it would be. It was lovely to have the oven, hob, fridge and dishwasher to bring home food and such. The bed was very comfortable and we had a closet that fit our clothes with ample hangers!! The only areas of improvement we could suggest would be putting a box of tissues in the room somewhere; including a facecloth to accompany the towels; and putting a small shelf in the shower for washing items, shampoo, etc. Other than those 3 suggestions everything about the room and location was outstanding. There is a lovely cafe/bar downstairs but we did not partake as there were plenty of options in the area but it did offer coffee, pastries and breakfast by the looks of things. King's Wardrobe was right next to St Paul's and it was wonderful to hear the bells in the quarter hour and on Sunday morning at 930am. Two stations within a 5 minute walk made getting around a breeze but the area is very walkable to areas like Shoreditch, Southbank and along the Victoria Embankment. The staff were excellent. We arrived before our room was ready so left our luggage at the hotel while exploring. Upon our return to check in we found our luggage already secure in our room. We definitely look forward to staying here at King's Wardrobe again but are also interested in their other properties around London and the UK.

We had a great time in a huge 1-bedroom perfectly located to get us to both The Globe & the Barbican (& Covent Garden) in about 10-20 minutes walk each way. The staff was great but we did have a few small issues — a fire alarm went off two mornings in a row; we couldn’t turn off the unit’s heat; no one seemed to tidy the room or change the towels even after a full week’s stay. But the people at the front desk were lovely and ultimately I am fairly certain we will be staying here again. Gorgeous place.

Huge, well-appointed, central aparthotel

We stayed here for a week. It quickly became our home away from home in London. Very spacious one bedroom apartment hotel. Quiet, clean, and with amenities including a kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. Convenient location between Blackfriars and St Paul’s made it easy to get anywhere. The reception desk is a bit tricky to find, as it’s in the Counter restaurant and we arrived late at night, after the restaurant was closed. But the door was still open and the desk was staffed.

This place exceeded my expectations. The apartment was well maintained and managed and fit our needs perfectly! (Family of 4). Fantastic location convenient to two different tube stations, and practically next door to St. Paul's. The staff were all super friendly and helpful as well. There is a restaurant/café attached to the property as well, with good food and coffee. I highly recommend!

The room size was excellent. I didn’t use the kitchen but it would’ve been great if I wanted to cook. I did use the laundry and it worked well. Location was very convenient for me and public transport was quite close. The negatives were; it was very loud at night from street noise (people talking), the stairs to get to the room were very narrow which would’ve been difficult with a large or heavy bag, and the shower didn’t drain.

This is our second stay at this property. The apartments are large and offer a true home away from home. We especially love the washer/dryer - allows for us to pack less when we can do laundry! When you step out of the property, you are close to several tube stops and the River Thames - so a great location! We did encounter an issue with the toilet not functioning but the issue was addressed promptly. The one caution for those booking this property is to remember it is by St Paul's Cathedral that does have a bell that tolls on the hour, every hour. With windows closed, it isn't too loud, but if windows are open, the bells can be quite loud at night. This is not enough to detour us from staying as it really is a wonderful property and will for sure stay here again!

Expedia has been great resource for securing accommodation for many trips we've taken. Unfortunately this experience at Native Kings Wardrobe was extremely disappointing. When planning our trip to London we knew we would require car parking facilities and filtered the accommodation search accordingly. Native Kings Wardrobe came up as an option that supposedly had parking at a reasonable daily rate, so we selected that option. Prior to the visit we tried to call the property regarding the location of the parking but could never get through. We also messaged via the app a couple of times, but never received a response. On arrival at the property neither of the staff on the check-in knew where the parking was located. A staff member in the cafe was called who walked us down the street to the parking location and opened the gates so we could enter to park. There were only a small number of parking spots, but we found a vacant one and we then checked in and paid for our stay up front, the staff being fully aware that we were staying for 2 nights and were parked in the car park for the duration. About 10 days after leaving the property we were issued with a parking fine with the reason cited as "no valid parking session". If you are thinking of staying at this property, please be aware that communication with the property is extremely poor and that the parking situation is nothing short of a scam.
