Newly built flat with fully fitted kitchen (cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave).

Lounge area with sofa, dining table, television with Netflix.

Double bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Further bedroom (accessed from main bedroom via a loft staircase) with double bed.

WiFi throughout.

The flat is attached to my home so if there are any problems I’m a door knock away.

Guest access

The flat is accessed through the front porch where there is the front door to my property and a side door leading to your property. Keys will be secured for you in a keycode safe so you can collect them yourself easily.

Other things to note

The flat is non smoking but you are welcome to smoke on the drive or on the street outside the property.

The property is in walking distance of the beautiful Beddington Park which includes an adventure playground, ponds and a lake where you can feed the ducks and swans, a cafe, exercise equipment and a bbq area.

More information

Carshalton is a few bus stops away and has a traditional tea house and some lovely pubs/restaurants.

Croydon is 20 minutes away and has two shopping centres as well as many restaurants. The famous Box Park food court is directly next to East Croydon Station. Box Park hosts regular music events.

Sutton is 20 minutes away and has two shopping centres and many restaurants.

Valley Retail Park is a 15 minute bus journey away and has a cinema, restaurants and shops.

Getting around

Local station Waddon is a 5 minute walk away. From Waddon the fast train to London Bridge takes 23 minutes and the fast train to London Victoria (walking distance to Buckingham Palace) takes 38 minutes.

Waddon Marsh Tram Stop is a 10 minute walk away from where you can reach Wimbledon in 23 minutes.

Buses to Croydon (15 minutes) and Sutton (20 minutes) are every 5/10 minutes from outside the property. 25 minutes by bus to East Croydon Station which has a fast train to Gatwick Airport.

There is a Heathrow express bus route from local area Carshalton which means you can reach Heathrow Airport in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Unfortunately you cannot park on the drive or outside the house but parking spaces are easily found on the side roads with are seconds away.

House of horrors - Filthy and bug infested

This was a filthy property, dirty washer caked with mold, dirty carpet, dusty linens, rusted microwave, old discolored towels. There were multiple bugs in all rooms including the bathroom. The flow of water in bathroom shower was like a trickle. Rooms are way smaller than what they seem in the listing. I took pictures of the dirt and bugs and complained to VRBO but they did nothing. The host did not respond to my companies and did not allow us to checkout early. Also, they have recording cameras on the outside and record your family leaving and coming in. I took pictures and videos of the property when I checked out in case the owner tries to file a false claim against me. Keep away from this property.

Place is close to train station and restaurants. Has a private entrance. I gave 3 stars because the place got really warm out of nowhere in middle of the night. We checked all heating systems were off. Our baby couldn’t sleep with the heat. Tried to open the window, but the road noise was too much to fall asleep. It’s on a busy road and a lots of cars with sirens drive by at night.

Entspricht den Angaben. Vermieter wohnen im Haus, aber nur kurz gesehen. Bahnhof mit Verbindung in die City fußlĂ€ufig, von daher fĂŒr uns ideal. Kochen fĂŒr die Familie mangels sinnvoller Töpfe kaum möglich.

Owners live onsite and Rachel was very friendly; no code for key box upon arrival : Rachel answered door and there was actually no key in the lock box either. Since owner was home, it worked out ok. Newly remodeled is a bit outdated as walls are scuffed, carpet is worn and the dust levels in the bedroom loft were high. Needs a deep clean rather than a quick housekeeping flip. Bathroom was clean and nice, The sofa on main floor stinks like dogs or dust or something
the purple blanket can’t cover that. It is gross and uncomfortable. Loud traffic noises 24/7__ but also very accessible public transport. Dishes are mismatched and it would be nice to have NescafĂ© or tea or something offered. Instructions on site for using hot water and washing would save owners from guests needing to bother them for the basics. For the price, owners could do small things like dishes that match and it would seem less weary. Rachel was very nice and helpful but I would not stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed staying there. We were able to walk to the train station to go to London. We liked have a washer/dryer. It meet our needs. They had made a recommendation for a fish and chip that we went to. The fish and chips were really good and servings were huge. It did take us a few minutes to figure out thw hot water foe the shower.

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay in this cute little flat, it had everything we needed and was in a great location to take train/bus into London. The family (owners) were very helpful, not intrusive, however they were there when needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Great for locals

As an American, a how to guide would have been helpful. Appliances, utilities, power all different. It’s on a main road and bus line so transportation is easy, traffic noise a byline. If you go for extended stay, make sure you bring your own supplies. All in all a nice place, just keep in mind differences between countries. With Our American rentals, basics are a little more stocked. Freezer, ice, basic kitchen needs, paper products, linens, coffee and maker, etc. UK appears more frugal.

Kleine Abstriche, aber dennoch zufriedenstellend

Wir haben zu dritt 5 Tage hier verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sauber und da wir eh selten in der Wohnung waren, war diese auch ausreichend fĂŒr uns. Jedoch finde ich (vorallem fĂŒr 3 Leute) fehlte es etwas an Ausstattung in der KĂŒche und die Betten sind inzwischen sehr durchgelegen und unbequem. DafĂŒr ist die Gastgeberin per Mail immer erreichbar gewesen und hat alle Fragen und WĂŒnsche schnell beantwortet bzw. erfĂŒllt. Wir waren trotz kleiner Abstriche zufrieden.

Efficient accommodation near London, within walking distance of Waddon Station. Easily accessible by car; free parking spaces available. There’s also a supermarket nearby. The beds weren’t of the best quality. The owner is nearby for any questions you might have, they’re willing to help.

Exactly what we were looking for.

The property was clean, modern, close to public transport and other amenities. Easy access to London at a reasonable price. The owners were very helpful when required and also gave us privacy. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anyone.

Super Nett

FĂŒr 2 Personen die London erkunden wollen super. Die kleine Wohnung hat viel charme auch wenn sie sehr klein ist ... das macht aber auch vielleicht den Charme aus ;). Man wohnt mit den Vermietern Wand an Wand was aber ĂŒberhaupt nicht störend ist. Sie sind auch sehr nett und haben uns tipps und hilfen gegeben.
