Rooms are basically a bed and a bath but tidy. Free continental breakfast for direct online booking. Staff were professional polite and very helpful. Construction in the building at this time, but minimal inconvenience. If you are a budget traveler and don't need luxury, this is a place to consider. East London is minutes away from the center.

The location was perfect for us. There is easy access to the Bus and Train. Liverpool Street and Moorgate train stations are very near. The breakfast option was perfect as well. The room was clean and overall happy.

The bathroom was extremely small. The shower door was difficult to open and there was no handle on the shower. I almost fell twice in the shower due to the slippery floor.

I stayed here for a second time. I didn’t notice on my first trip how basic it was. We had a twin room. Wasn’t the cleanest, only two bath towels. I think at least one hand towel should also be provided regardless. Staff were friendly and welcoming, good location.

Good enough for room and board

For eco purposes (which I understand), hotel doesn’t do housekeeping unless after 3 nights. I noticed a lot of random hair strands in the bathroom, on the bathroom walls and on my sheets. Also, one of the hotels I received was all ripped up. Would suggest doing checks on towels and sheets etc. Hotel wasn’t terrible but would have appreciated more thorough checks and cleaning of the room. Staff was friendly and helpful
