Ice box with toilet in closet!

This stay was awful!! The room was freezing cold, there was no outlets in the room to charge both of our phones, the bathroom was literally in a closet!! If my first stay was like this I would’ve NEVER went back!! Bad enough they use it for a shelter so I’m paying to stay where others are staying for free and they don’t know who is who so some people working there talk to you rudely especially a person there calling himself the director

This hotel is at best odd and at worst incredibly cheaply run. Our room was dirty, with sticky wood floors, an AC unit in the closet, DARK brown water coming from the sink and tub when first turned on, crooked pictures covering up cracks, stains, and water damage on the walls. We had no mini fridge, no bedside table, no outlets next to the bed on either side, no hand towel or wash cloths in the bathroom. This was supposedly a “queen suite” but it was cramped and untidy. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay again. I only gave three stars because the gentleman running the desk overnight was very kind. The two guys who were at the front desk in the morning were more interested in drinking coffee and looking at their phones/computer than assisting us. Also they were both wearing sweats and looked unprofessional, I wasn’t even sure they worked there.

The property served its purpose as far as being close to a venue I needed to attend. The lobby floor had several beverage spills on it and the bathroom had one towel and when asking for more, it took 3 attempts to get both the proper number and clean items. The temperature in the room was difficult to adjust and the room itself was tight and confining.

Will at the Front Desk was extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made checking in and out so easy.

First of all, I did not get the room that I had requested the property was very old and rundown no lamps in the room to have a dim light. The overhead lights was too bright. . Then to make things worse this morning I pay the hotel cash for my payment then woke up this morning and they charged my card again. Went to the receptionist for explanation, which he is the person that charge me wants to give me the runaround. there is no way I would ever go back to that hotel again.

No heat in the room. Noisy place, Antiquated tiny elevator. Steep stairs. There is a restaurant in many of the pictures. It is closed. The guest room they took pictures of does not exist. Tear the entire building down and build a modern hotel. It would make money.

Close to the beach
