RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #250 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Place was great! Highly recommend renting it. The only trouble we had was the fridge wasn’t getting cold and lost some food. We told them when we checked out so hopefully they will fix it. Best part was waking up and having coffee looking at the ocean. Amazing!!

Awesome view

Very friendly at the front desk, supply beach towels, there are chairs but not a lot, we brought our own and glad we did. Pool is nice, porch was screened in which does distort view some. Overall, great stay and would come back. No elevator, that I noticed anyway, so if you aren’t great with stairs and carrying luggage up keep that in mind.

Not a good place to stay for the price.

The property needs all around updating. Walk to beach is not cleared. No nice pathway. Chairs are old some broken etc. they provide you a zip tie for your umbrella. Pillows in room are old and worn. Air filter was dirty in a/c. I do NOT recommend this place for the cost. I will NOT return.

Great view!

Pleasantly surprised. The unit was brighter and nicer than I expected. The pool was very nice and clean. The only complaint is I whacked both of my knees on the corner of the bed frame in the middle of the night. A little bleach would help get rid of the mildew on the clear shower curtain. Overall great and I would stay there again without a doubt.

Perfect getaway

Had a great stay location was great view was perfect! Didn’t love that you enter condo through bedroom door but it was ok. Very sparse on kitchen equipment but we ate out so wasn’t a big deal. There was a coffee maker and that’s pretty much all we used. The lanai was amazing for spending morning with our coffees. Can’t wait to return.

Location is great

Very private, best unit 250 or any on the end. Great location. Clean updated kitchen and bathroom in a older building. Just need to update patio furniture and couch.

Location and view of the ocean was excellent. The condo itself needs a little love. Walls need paint, cracks on the balcony and needed a cleaning. Balcony furniture and decor needs major update. The kitchen also needed way more supplies. Can opener that works, colander, spatula and baking dishes. The hair dryer was also super old and didn’t turn off unless it was unplugged.

A great beachfront condo!

My husband and I headed to the Bradenton area this weekend for a family wedding. After extensive research, I settled upon this particular condo in Longboat Key, and we had such a wonderful time! The views are stunning, and the retractable doors to the porch make you feel like you are right on the beach! Due to COVID, I was particular about cleanliness. The condo was very clean upon arrival. Lauren at the front desk was extremely helpful and was so generous to let us have an extended check-out so that we didn't have to sit at the airport for hours. We were so grateful. We loved how beach towels were provided and umbrellas and loungers for the beach, too. Our only word of caution is that ants seemed to be a problem, but that is to be expected due to all of the rain. Lauren said she was going to notify pest control, and I would just recommend putting ALL food in the refrigerator. We unfortunately lost a lot of pricey baked goods from Publix. Also, the owners had a framed letter on the TV stand that referenced a recent remodel, and unfortunately, the living room furniture already seems worn and dirty due to lack of care from guests. Disappointing that people wouldn't treat a privately owned condo like their own home. Some of the kitchenware (e.g., the cookie sheet and frying pans) could be replaced. Cheap to do so! Overally, I would recommend this condo, and my comments are only meant to help for an even better experience!
