This sought after, BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED, two bedrooms, two bath FIRST FLOOR END UNIT offers fully renovated kitchen and baths. Bedrooms have been GENEROUSLY EXTENDED with brand new mattresses (8/8/2022), with "in-unit" WASHER and DRYER. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a pool view and steps away from the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico from your back door. Unit sleeps a maximum of 6 people: 1 king, 1 Queen, 1 Full and 1 sleeper sofa.

We missed the last few years with the loss of our parents but all 15 of us made it back to Sand Cay last week and everything was just as it ever was. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and friendly. Longboat beaches are beautiful and uncrowded. We love how so many familiar and fantastic restaurants and shops are still there to greet us. Thanks Sand Cay!

The unit we have filled with beach toys and sports gears. That was a sweet surprise for my kids and grandkids. They have so much fun with all the toys they can play with. We loved this condo and the resort! Beach is quiet, low-key, family atmosphere, and beautiful, with LOTS of shells. Property is lovely with well-planned and maintained landscaping. We had never been to Longboat Key before and it exceeded our expectations. Just beautiful. The only thing we would suggest to the condo owners is to replace mattresses on beds. At the very least the king in the master bedroom. Big dips on both sides of bed—very uncomfortable. But everything else is wonderful. They had lots of beach equipment in the storage area of the unit that we were able to use—chairs, floats, beach umbrella, beach towels, beach toys, etc. We will definitely stay there again if they put new, firm mattresses on beds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was very close to the pool. That was great for our kids. We enjoyed being on ground floor the kids could play in the yard area. It was a short walk to the beach. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The only thing lacking is beach umbrellas. There was a broken one in the condo. We were told that the complex has umbrellas first come first serve however the complex has like 2 umbrellas. So if you want shade on the beach bring your own cover because they really don’t have them. We ended up buying one at Walmart. Just FYI be aware of red tide in the ocean. It came the last 2 days we were there and you couldn’t be on the beach or in the water so the pool got crowded. No one can predict red tide it comes from weather and current etc.

The "Dirty Gurty" of Sand Cay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in sore need of a deep clean. The couch and chair in the unit were very dirty and smelled and in dire need of cleaning. The glassware was cloudy and in the bottom of one of the glasses, I saw crud stuck to the bottom after I got to the bottom of my drink. And now on to the bedrooms. The throw pillows on the bed had dirty spots, my wife had to spend some of her valuable vacation time washing the comforters, and the pull out bed sheets had to be washed as the bed had been clerly put away without the sheets not having been washed. The mattress cover had to be be replaced with an egg create pad which we did at our own expense. We had to go to the store and buy a swiffer to wipe down all of the floors since we noticed that my son's new white socks were turning black on the bottoms from wearing them in the unit.We stayed at Sand Cay for the two years prior to this year and found the other two units to be clean, so this took us completely by surprise. Upon notifying the office, they sent someone in to clean the unit, but the crud was still in the bottom of the glasses after running them through the dishwasher. We were extremely disappointed in the overall condition of Unit 108

January Retirement Celebration

We had a great time in Sarasota, wonderful, quiet property, excellent amenities with pickle ball, pool, beach with chairs on site. Will definitely try to return.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was perfect for us and our 3 kids! Right by the pool and shuffleboard! Very quick walk to the beach!
