Guests have access to breathtaking coastal walks, and a mere 15-minute stroll down a shaded wooded track leads to the idyllic Lansallos Cove and the scenic coastal path. To the east lies the picturesque fishing village of Polperro, while to the west, Polruan graces the banks of the River Fowey, opposite the charming town of Fowey itself. The nearby fishing town of Looe, just a short drive away, beckons with its sandy beach, shops, and restaurants. Children can enjoy exploring rock pools or engaging in crab fishing on the quay, while the local fish market offers the chance to procure the catch of the day for a special meal.

For a captivating excursion, the seafaring town of Fowey can be reached by a ferry trip across the scenic River Fowey. A foot passenger ferry departs from Polruan, or a car ferry departs from Bodinnick. Once home to the renowned author Daphne Du Maurier, Fowey is steeped in history and hosts a royal sailing regatta. Cornish Break

We stayed in a very well organised house plenty of room for Six people in a great location for walking and visiting some of Cornwall’s lovey seaside towns and beaches. If you have a dog with you it is dog heaven with lots of safe walking on your doorstep.

Time to relax

Myself, my mother and a friend plus 2 dogs. The property was in a beautiful, very quiet location. Large enough for each of us to have our own room & bathroom. Wonderful safe garden for the dogs. The walk to the beach through the wooded path is very relaxing but a little to steep for mum (75 years) If you are looking to relax, watch the wildlife and enjoy the peace and quiet this if for you. No shops or pub within walking distance which for us was not a problem just stock up and enjoy. Wonderful break. Thank you

Fantastic coastal walks right on the doorstep.only drawback was supposed to spend it with more family but because of the pandemic had to limit it to one family of 5 for same price. It is remote and you do need a car with no local eating places but we knew that before had booked. If walking the coast path is what you want to do it is a perfect location. Lovely property so quiet, great location . Amenities and equipment were brilliant , enclosed back garden great for the dog who loved it ! Would definately book again . Treen was a lovely place to get away from everything for a week.

Treen was a lovely place to get away from everything for a week. It felt very homely from arrival. It is equipped with pretty much everything. The garden is large and the layout of the house is really practical for pets and children with the big entrance at the front which has garden access and a shower room.

Loved the cottage and walk to the beach .One niggle is that the bathrooms were not that clean especially the down stairs shower room toilet was not cleaned properly and loo brush not great with splatters on wall of the toilet low down from a used toilet brush. And tables need better dusting and lamps .and floors need just a better hover from sand and dust .
