Our property is equipped with water storage containers to help during these times, but water must always be used conservatively.

Drinking water is not affected, as the Casita is supplied with bottled water.

Gretchen was a warm and welcoming host! The casita was clean, nicely decorated, with conveniences like beach towels, snorkeling equipment and paddle boards. Beach is a little rocky and water pressure is lower but to be expected in Mexico. Convenient to get to all tours and downtown. Actual final cost is about 35% higher than per night booking rate from additional guests and cleaning fees. Sea of Cortez is beautiful and Loreto is a great laid back relaxing town

Awesome stay! The mountain and ocean views were great, pool/patio area and plants very nice, and direct beach access great. Super nice to be able to go for a beach walk or paddleboard or kayak right from the place and then jump in the pool. Bedrooms and kitchen very nice and beds super comfy.

Fabulous views and peaceful !!

While staying at Gretchen and Rick's casita at Casa Bell, you'll have everything you need for a relaxing visit in Loreto. The pictures included in this listing are true. There are 2 very comfy beds and fluffy towels in their spotless casita. A well stocked kitchen with every amenity you could need to cook a meal. Loads of storage in beautiful wood cabinets in the bedrooms. Plenty of bottled water is provided for drinking and cooking, which was fabulous as I need my coffee first thing!! They have a *gorgeous* landscaped courtyard and pool with loungers that was well lit at night that made us feel secure. We were there in February and the pool wasn't warm enough for us to use, dang it!For the most part it was quiet but this is a growing neighborhood so there was construction in the area. Gretchen has listed their property as walking distance to town. For some people that may be but we're in our 70's and we're glad we rented a car. Also, you should be aware there are 24 stairs up to the casita from the courtyard. Your luggage may get heavy ;D.

Perfect escape!

The property is even more beautiful in person! One of the nicest rentals we have stayed in! Loved having the kayaks and paddleboards. Walked to town along the beach every morning. The location is just far enough from the city center to be quiet and peaceful. Beds are very comfortable and having multiple choices of pillows was amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. There is construction next door but they weren't working on it during our 2 week stay. Would definitely recommend a car to get around town. Highly recommend!

January in Loreto

It’s kind of difficult to summarize how special this property is. The lodging itself is perfect, everything including beds is super comfortable and the views plus access to the miles of beach were really special. We had some very windy days but managed to use the paddle boards twice (loved it!) and were very able to take a panga boat across the Isle Coronado and saw lot and lots of dolphins. Lunch was stops at one of the many taco spots followed by cooking dinner in the well stocked kitchen. If you get inspired by the local cuisine - the grocery store, seafood stores and the tortilleria will have what you are looking for. We hope to return to this spot again.

Casa Bell is a great place to stay and the hosts are fantastic. Very responsive to all inquiries and questions. We really enjoy our daily walks on the beach into town for meals and various excursions into the surrounding vicinity- especially to see the blues whales!

Loreto Perfection!

Have spent quite a bit of time exploring Baja but first trip to Loreto & did not disappoint. Town is quaint & exactly what we were looking for- a getaway from the hustle & bustle of life & big commercialization. Casa Bell is the perfect place to stay in Loreto. Peaceful location about 20minutes walk down the beach into town - just close enough! The casita is beautiful & has EVERYTHING needed. Beach, pool, paddleboards, kayaks. Beautiful sunrises & spectacular sunsets. The ocean was like a lake with island views & mountain ranges in the background. The weather & water temperature was perfectly warm! Great fishing w Fly Fish Loreto & diving w Blue Nation. Would definitely recommend both businesses. Thanks to Gretchen for being so responsive & accommodating. We will definitely be back to Loreto & Casa Bell again!

Loreto dream!

Casa Bell's casita exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The location is the best in Loreto on a private clean beachfront but walkable to town (less than a mile). The casita was super clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay (coffee maker, filters, blender, blow dryer, bluetooth speaker, beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, etc.).The beds were comfortable and so many pillows!! The water bubbler was essential and we appreciated having it as we're big water drinkers. Reliable WiFi. Gretchen was super responsive to our questions and provided us with very clear instructions and directions to the property. The courtyard is a sanctuary with a beautiful pool and large fireplace for evenings with mango margaritas! A couple of recommendations for guests - TAKE CASH. Most businesses in town don't take credit cards. Take tennis shoes - the beach walks are amazing but there are stones and black sand and we were thankful to have shoes. We loved our stay and plan to return to the property in the future. Thanks Gretchen for hosting us. We loved Loreto and your property!!

Wonderful time at Casa Bell

We had a lovely time at Casa Bell. The casita has everything you need and very comfortable beds! The casita has a very generous patio for you to enjoy the views and the courtyard is quiet and private for pool time. We did not attempt a walk to town, but it seems like it would be pretty easy. The weather was very windy during our stay, but the courtyard provides some shelter from the wind so you can still enjoy the sunshine. We had one calm day and got to enjoy the use of paddleboards and swim in the very shallow sea off Casa Bell beach. Gretchen is a wonderful host and did her best to make our stay perfect. Wonderful Casita

We loved Casa Bell. Our stay was wonderful. The views of the Sea of Cortez and the mountains were spectacular. Sunrise and moonrise over the sea were beautiful. We enjoyed all the outdoor sitting options. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun. Loved being able to open all the windows to let the sea breezes in. Beds were very comfortable. Gracias

Awesome set up on the beach

Assess to town was walkable, and staying in was nice too. With a sheltered courtyard and pool. Beds were comfortable and of high quality. All the extra touches that made this feel like a home away from home are here. We will most definitely be back. It was a great place for a chill vacation!

Amazing spot

The property and location were amazing! We had a great time. Only negative I can say is the WiFi is non existent and the cell service is so so. So needless to say I did not get much work done, but the tequila flowed just fine.

So beautiful

We had a relaxing vacation at Casa Bell. The house is very nice, comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing everyday. We enjoyed Loreto and Casa Bell .

Perfect Getaway

We loved staying at this property! It was perfect distance to town and a very quiet and safe neighborhood. The courtyard and the house were beautiful and well kept. The check in process was very easy and communication with the owner was quick and clear. The views are incredible! We would definitely stay here again.

Truely is paradise!

Casa Bell absolutely lived up to its reputation. The property is perfect! Waking up to the beautiful sunrises each morning and sitting out on the patio as the sun sets was spectacular. It was a joy to be able to meet Casa Bell's host, Gretchen. She is welcoming and very helpful in answering any questions and helping with any arrangements/recommendations you might need. Gretchen has thought of just about everything you will want and need to enjoy your stay. A well equipped kitchen and house. The surrounding property is private, and includes a pool and a beautiful outdoor living area for more holiday enjoyment. Gretchen hooked us up with an amazing boat captain, Noa for a day visit out to the island. Noa was excellent! Since we were getting around without a car, Kristin found us an excellent and trusted driver, Rego, who was there for us the whole week. He gave us little tours along the way as well. We highly recommend a trip out to the end of the road to Picazon and spending some time with owner operator, Diego. Great food and a fun experience. We had a wonderful first trip to Loreto thanks to Casa Bell and we will return without a doubt! A great way to get away from the world! Gracias, Casa Bell and Gretchen!

Ultimate kick back relax and unwind.

The property is first rate. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner, Gretchen is a great communicator and a very helpful resource. She has thought of just about everything you will want and need to enjoy your stay. A car is necessary to explore Loreto. If you enjoy hanging out, spending time with loved ones, walking or jogging a beach, eating very good authentic Mexican food/ seafood/ pizza this is the place for you. BTW there are a number of relatively deserted beaches South of town with good seashells. Just wear shoes in the water and watch for a rare scorpion fish!
