The experience with Clover Motel & staff was a horrible one. The booking & payment we made was for 2 adults and a child of 3 yo.4 nights double room, non smoking .The room had a horrible chocking odor of marijuana,( it supposed to be a non smoking room ),very dirty, a real health hazard. Non family friendly, unsafe motel area and surroundings.See photos attached.

The room I was given had not been cleaned after the last guest had checked out. The floor was sticky, as I had to peel my shoes off with every step; the showers had some sort of built-up residue; the counter tops/microwave were not cleaned, as they had gunk on them; and lastly, the sheets were used and crinkled, with a lovely toenail in the center. After I tried to get a refund, I was offered two different rooms with varying degrees of uncleanliness. I understandably did not accept either and instead insisted on my refund. They denied me, and I left as I figured I was not getting anywhere with the staff. If you can help it, I would stay elsewhere. I had just driven for 6 hours; I was not in the mood to deal with any of what unfolded. The extra 100 dollars for a different spot is worth it. Enjoy your stay in LA!
