I was charged for drinks I never took from the bar. It took three calls for someone to return my call and say they would email me my bill. I called again to complain to tell them I did not take those drinks and there is no reply. I also told them in the morning to come check my room before I left and they said not to worry about it. This is why I always get my room checked before I leave. But they refused to check . My daughter also asked for champagne to be delivered to my room for my birthday. She offered to pay but they said it was complimentary because it was my birthday. They also charged me for that. For as much as they charge fur the hotel you think there would be better communication!

Perfect Birthday Celebration at Casa Del Mar

Overnight Romantic stay to celebrate Bday & to relax—So lovely! Staff were warm & accommodating-Made us dinner reserve's next door at Coast Cafe, where we had delish & fun meal w. friends who met us-Had Brunch in Restaurant in hotel-Another great meal in beautiful setting w. Wonderful service! Can’t wait to come back again for a longer visit!

Lovely hotel

It’s a lovely hotel, there is a $55 a day resort fee, which you don’t learn about until check in. Great location, but it’s on a public beach, so public passes by all day and night, didn’t bother us, but I could see how some people would be annoyed by that.

From start to finish, the staff makes you feel welcome and they are always friendly and helpful. White the hotel has been there for a while, It seems like new which indicates they are very serious about upkeep. Room was spacious and well decorated. The common areas are all lovely.
