Lovely hotel

It’s a lovely hotel, there is a $55 a day resort fee, which you don’t learn about until check in. Great location, but it’s on a public beach, so public passes by all day and night, didn’t bother us, but I could see how some people would be annoyed by that.

From start to finish, the staff makes you feel welcome and they are always friendly and helpful. White the hotel has been there for a while, It seems like new which indicates they are very serious about upkeep. Room was spacious and well decorated. The common areas are all lovely.

Location is excellent & we have enjoyed our trips in the past. This time however, the hotel switched one of our coastal view rooms to a pool deck room (downgrade) and failed to provide statements for the duration of our stay- 2 rooms x 4 nights. We definitely have questions about the charges to our credit cards. We have called several times and have left several messages for accounting and now the general manager, without any results. This is very shady behavior. Also, we were denied beach chairs which should be included in amenities (they were last year) so we would definitely like a refund for that!

Hotel was great. Hotels.com, not so much.

The hotel was great, but I didn't see that the food credit was only for breakfast, nor that there was an extra resort fee not included. I really hate getting those surprise bills at the end of an otherwise nice stay.

Beautiful hotel, safe, convenient, excellent food and staff….super beautiful rooms ..pool, watch sunset from the pool overlooking the ocean. Will definitely be back! Superb hospitality and every single member of staff who worked here ensured I was well taken care of, and fed. I loved this hotel. A numeric rating isn’t available, that’s how beautiful it was!
