Better Than Average L.A. Motel

This has become our go-to place when we need to stay in the Studio City/Universal area of Los Angeles. It's not fancy (very basic furnishings) but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and efficient. For an overnight stay in L.A., the rates are very reasonable and you can leave your car parked there at no additional charge.

Nice place! Friendly staff

Super clean and a cute place to stay. Neighborhood is decent but maybe looks a little sketchy. No issues on a 7 block walk at 11pm on a weeknight.

If your plan is to visit universal, this option is good. Pretty close and at the same time far from the crowd. If you like to walk, you even can leave the car at the hotel and go walking as we did. Calm place and quiet, something simple and good.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and they clean the room everyday. Whenever we come back from a trip the room was always clean.
