The first night we couldn’t sleep due to the window poor noise isolation. It’s so bad we booked a new hotel, and it’s so bad we abandoned it. The place is nicely renovated, though. The only comment on cleanliness is the floor. It was so dirty our feet turned black from walking around.

Really liked what I got for the money, it’s an excellent value vs staying at a hotel. I shared a 1 BR with a friend and it had plenty of room for us both. He said the sofa bed was comfortable. You get a kitchen and there’s a Whole Food nearby. It is downtown and it can be noisy, I was prepared for that and had noise cancelling headphones. Staff was friendly and helpful. I plan to stay there again.

This was a good find!

We picked The Winfield because it was close to the concert venue we were attending. This was a good find! The staff was great! I couldn't figure out how to work the stovetop but there were lots of restaurant options nearby. Interestingly enough, there were no microwave ovens available in the rooms, but that was neither here nor there for this trip. The apartment and linens were clean and the amenities were nice. Yes, there was loud music from the venue across the street at night, but that was not a showstopper. The concert we attended was in walking distance and overall we had a good trip! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 7 days at this property and everything was great. The flat was great, with a lot of space. The only thing that could be improved a bit is that the lift gets quite busy sometimes (there are 2 lifts apparently shared between guests and staff). Find a good place to park the car was challenging because it is downtown LA, we used the garage near CVS on the S Grand Ave, It was the cheapest overnight ($20) that looked safe. Parking can be expensive because none of the places offer in/out on the same ticket so it is probably not a good choice if you need to drive in and out multiples times per day.

Good room, Sonder app, was on changeover to Marriott system so didn’t work, chat option online to resolve hopeless, double charged for room, extensive efforts to have funds returned ended with lots of buck passing as to who was responsible, returned funds but exchange rate difference saw less money returned, less than satisfactory.

I was surprised that they did not have a microwave in the apartment. Everything else was nice. One of the bathrooms was in operable as the toilet was clogged up.

I was skeptical about booking in the downtown LA area based off what I’ve heard. I traveled with my family and we felt safe. We liked how this was distance to the grand central market and close to the night market. We enjoyed our stay.

Efficient and Clean!

Fantastic! Love the ease of the Sonder. They added a security guard outside and that’s great, not necessary but nice gesture. I enjoy staying here and their gym is clean!

Beautiful apartment in the DTLA! 25 min walk to LA convention center. About 30 min walk to Little Tokyo, 40 min walk to china town. Many good restaurants in the area. There is a Whole Foods nearby. The apartments are clean, safe and modern. Will book again if ever in LA.
