I would rate this hotel 2 stars. Bed was clean, ac worked, water pressure was nice. Towels in the room. The bad was wallpaper in room was gross. Mold all over the room, ceilings were peeling and cracked, blood on the wall, bed was as hard as concrete, 27in tv in room was a little small for modern day, no breakfast any of the 3 days we were there. Facility is in need of a rehab bad. We paid roughly $145/night. Also require ID for every guest... never encountered this is any other hotel.

Worst staff out of any hotel I have ever stayed at. My boyfriend and I stay at hotels on and off all year round. We have stayed anywhere from the penthouse at MGM in Vegas to the pink cloud hourly motel on Sepulveda in the valley in California. I have a chronic lung disease and he has cancer so sometimes that requires us to be isolated in a hotel room to tend to our illnesses away from friends and family and our living situation. That is why we stay in hotels so much and have the experience we do with all types of hotels. The Valley Inn hotel in Mission Hills has the worst staff we have ever come across in all our time spent in hotels. We spent five days there and on our last night of our stay they tried to extort us for money claiming we damaged the sofa chair in the room and it would cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to fix it. I will include a picture of the supposed damaged sofa chair so you can see how absurd this claim is. They told us we would not be able to stay at their hotel or rent rooms from them in the future if we did not pay a $500 cleaning fee, then they tried for a $300 property damage fee, then they tried for a $250 incidental fee, then the claimed they would just keep our $100 deposit and finally the owner and my husband settled on us paying them $20 after arguing with the back and forth for quite some time about the absurdity and validity of their claim. We ended up having to sleep in our car that night since we were far away from home.Do not stay here

I was staying here for about a week, the last night of my stay I accidentally dropped a yogurt on the floor and some of it splashed on the sofa chair in the room and when I asked housekeeping to help me clean it up they told me I had to leave for damaging the property. I feel like I am in the twilight zone for getting kicked out of a hotel room that I have been paying for because I accidentally spilled a yogurt. The woman at the front desk gave the worst customer service I have ever received in all of my life. DO NOT STAY HERE

As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by bugs in the tub. The staff was incredibly incompetent. I had called Expedia (who were wonderful) to add my mom to the reservation because she would arrive before me. However, when she was ready to check in, “her name wasn’t there.” When I arrived to check in, I discovered that I only had one room under my name, and the other was my mom’s. As I mentioned earlier, the staff was very incompetent. If one room was under my mom’s name, why couldn’t she check in? To add insult to injury, they dry their laundry hanging. I’m very itchy, and I got bug bites. The pictures looked decent, but don’t let that fool you.
