Upon checked we were immediately told we would be moved to a different room the next day. The new room was exactly the same layout but in a different building. We were given a few options as the building and floor we would like to move to. It all worked out excluding the inconvenience of not being able to get totally unpacked and settled and the time they said this would happen was not accurate and again prevented us from getting settled. We did not go with the all inclusive which I believe is was an option. We would have breakfast in our room. There is a nice grocery store just down the road from the resort which had a limited variety of foods but was enough. We typically prepare and eat breakfast and lunch in our room. A couple of days we ordered food by the pool. The lunch price averaged about $20 US per person and the resort added fees on top which we felt were excessive. This price also did not include beverages. The resort itself was very nice, clean, excellent maid service daily. A big plus is the location being so close to the marina, restaurants and local shopping. If not for the initial issue with the room change, I would have rated the resort a 4-1/2 out of five. Please note that this was our 4th visit to Cabo and we really enjoy the area and people.

If you ever get to visit Playa Grande you will enjoy the entertainment staff with Salma! They are awesome! Dining in the restaurants - you need to have a table with Jose and poolside - get a section with Daniel. They are all the best.

Playa Grande was a great oasis away from the chaos of town, but still within an easy walk to the marina and restaurants if you wanted to leave the resort. The onsite amenities were great, with excellent dining and entertainment. There were numerous staff that went above and beyond to make the trip memorable, none more than Daniel F out at the pool.
