The Riu Palace is an excellent place to enjoy and relax. The entire staff is professional. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the TV had a good selection of channels for all preferences. The buffet was very good, the food was well prepared, and the food was excellent. The pool and bar areas are very lively and entertaining.

The Rio Cabo is worth it’s weight in gold. From the beautiful rooms to the outstanding lush greener around the hotel is everything. The pools are outstanding and the swim up drink pool, let’s just say don’t miss it. I can’t wait to return next year. Plus, don’t miss those lamb chops at the Italian restaurant!

We really like this Hotel. For a family of 5, we booked two rooms and at check-in they re-arranged the rooms so we were close to each other which was really appreciated. Free transport from the airport was a bonus . Having access to the other properties and using the water slides was a highlight for our kids. We found the food to be very good for all the family. Multiple options. The non-buffet restaurants (steakhouse / Mexican etc) tend to have a wait list so factor that in. The pool service and entertainment was good. The only poor part of the experience was the steakhouse where we told the wait was 30 mins to 1 hr, and turned out to be nearly 2 hours (resulted in a hangry family). This meant we were still dining after 10pm (closing time) and it seems they forgot or stopped serving a number of tables and we had to ask for service to clear our plates after dinner and request the desert for our kids. This could be an anomaly. We loved the Mexican restaurant. Food was incredible. Apart from that, we recommend this a place to go for families of all ages.
