âBigâ Little Farmhouse w Hot Tub- 4bd
100 year old house, recently fully renovated. Located off of Bardstown road, close 5-10 min to the Gene Snyder Freeway. Lots of outdoor space to lounge in, including a 100 year old renovated barn. Finished inside fully with Shiplap, the barn opens up to the patio area or private hot tub area. No parties.
We had a busy weekend so we were basically just at the house to sleep, but beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. House was clean and just as expected.
Stayed there for five nights and had a wonderful time. We had 9 kids and 4 adults in our group, and sometimes it was just nice to have a spot to play board games or watch TV together. The VRBO really felt like a calm place for us with everything we were trying to get done, and we made great use of the kitchen, living rooms, and bedrooms. I definitely have to give a SUPER Shout-out to Sarah here. She was really quick and friendly to respond when we had questions and made things feel like they were simple like check in, check-out, and WiFi. She had messaged it to me and she also had it in a little phone nook the house had (because it still has character). Felt like we had close access to everything in Louisville proper while living a life a little more in the burbs, which was just perfect for us.
The house was what we needed to accomdate our family for a college graduation. The hot tub was a plus. Fans did not work in the rooms on the main floor and changed batteries they still did not work. All and all it was perfect for us.
The stay was perfect. I appreciated the prompt communication from the host anytime I had a question. We did not get to utilize the space to its fullest potential since we spent the majorty of the time doing wedding stuff all weekend. It was a very comfortable landing spot after a long day.
Our family came to Louisville for the graduation of our son. We had 4 children ranging from age 5 to age 11. There was enough room for them to play in the yard and in the basement. The hot tub was fun too!
Loved our stay! Plenty of room for everyone. Beds were really comfy, hot tub and outdoor areas were nice. Everything was great! Host was very open and communicative.
Not impressed with the property. Advised the owners/manager of water damage as the floor downstairs was peeling up, and would squish under your feet when walking on it and the doors to the downstairs bedroom was split due to water damage so it could not open/close. There were 4 box fans in a closet downstairs but when we asked the owners about water damage they denied it.
The house was nice, didnât realize it was a multi level house. We wanted king beds which it had 2 but one was upstairs and the other one was downstairs. So we ended up sleeping on a queen. Because of our age I would not have rented it if I had known it was multi level. The host responded quickly to my emails.
We enjoyed our family trip this summer. The owners were great with communication and were kind enough to make some accommodations we needed last minute. There were shops nearby but the neighborhood was overall quite peaceful. We could see the care they put into the property and enjoyed the hot tub! I will note we didn't account for the ceiling in the upstairs or quite consider the limitation of having children and only eating in the kitchen (understandable but the kids wanted to have movies and snacks downstairs). Overall we loved our visit and look forward to returning! Highly recommend
We stayed here for a couple nights for a family vacation. It was nice to come back to lots of comfy places to lounge after being out on adventures during the day. Everything worked, it was super clean and well kept. It was perfect for our big family!
This house was perfect for two families with teen girls. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. Having two living rooms was a plus, as well. We loved the outdoor patio area!
The owners were quick with responses and very friendly.
We appreciated the room to give us more space to spread out compared to a traditional hotel. Louisville is a great place to visit!! We were celebrating my brother's birthday and it worked perfectly!
We spent a weekend here, we weren't at the house a ton but overall good experience. There were some dead bugs in the basement. It would be nice and more convenient to have a set wifi password instead of the current process. We just used our phones. The hot tub water was kinda low and it unfortunately doesn't hold heat great. The hot tub stayed around 95 degrees, we set it to 104! I was really looking forward to the hot tub but didnt get a chance to try it out until the last night so the owners weren't contacted.
Overall good stay!
