Brand new to VRBO, don't miss out! Old Louisville Glam meets charm & convenience! This Old Louisville historic home offers it all! Convenience to I-65 & the EXPO & close to downtown, it's the perfect spot in the heart of the city! Ideal for business travelers & families or groups experiencing the fabulous bourbon trail! Old Louisville is the largest preservation district featuring Victorian homes - whether Romanesque, Queen Anne, or Italianate is your architecture preference. Old Lou has them all! We look forward to your visit!!!
The house was perfect for my 40th birthday Bourbon train trip with my friends. Everything was as described and James was very helpful with communicating check-in/out process and recommendations for places to go in Louisville. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting.
The house was beautiful/historic. The pocket billiard table provided many evenings of fun after a day of distillery tours! Excellent accommodation for small/large or even multiple families.
Kitchen cabinet and drawer were damaged prior to our arrival, the kitchenware was in poor condition. Neighborhood was not as advertised and we did not feel Comfortable. Neighbors told is we couldNot park on street despite the listing saying we could. We were in town for festival, if other options were available we would not have stayed.
We had a great time!! The property was exactly as pictures showed. James was extremely helpful, we arrived late and he made sure everything was smooth for us coming in. There was road work happening(out of his control) but he made it easy for us even as we arrived after midnight. Definitively will stay again
Seven great friends stayed and had a blast. The sitting are was wonderful! The bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Definitely recommend this VRBO
The house was in a good location. Very easy to navigate to downtown. Had the weather been warmer Iâm sure my group would have been happy to walk to the KFC Yum arena. More than enough beds for my family (5). Host was great at communicating. I would stay here again.
Great location, very accommodating host, home exactly as pictured! Short Uber ride to everything we wanted to do. No weird people or neighbors observed so all of us gals felt safe. Would definitely stay again.
This was a lovely property, exactly as described in the listing. The home is spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The kitchen was well-appointed and I really appreciated the coffee and snacks left by the host.
The location is also excellent, within 15 minutes of just about everything in the city. The host was helpful and responsive. We would absolutely stay again!
Wonderful stay! We celebrates a birthday, host was very responsive. We had no issues at all. Lots of snacks and coffee provided, waters. Very clean. Listing photos are identical to property. Comfy beds! Amazing, would stay again for sure!
This was our second time staying on this property. We like that the house has plenty of room for all of us. Has amenities available and an extra space for a baby.
We enjoyed our 7 day stay at this charming property located in the historic district of Louisville while attending the annual art show. All the accommodations were spot on and, James, our most gracious host, was quick to respond to our questions and needs as well as provide a well supplied pantry of coffee and snacks. Loved the decor, artwork, and spaciousness of clean rooms. Appreciated that there was private parking as streetside is busy. This is a great rental for couples to larger families... a home away from home while enjoying the offerings of Louisville. Thanks to James and Staff...Highly Recommend.
My sisters and I spent a long weekend in Louisville to catch a concert at the Palace and explore the distilleries in Louisville.
This house was perfectly located in the historic area, walkable to some great eateries and shops around the area (Toasty's Tavern and Renshoku Ramen) and a very quick uber/drive away from downtown. Parking in the back of the house was gated, with plenty of space if you had more than one car outside the gate.
The house itself was exactly as the pictures show. Beautiful historical house that's been well updated. Beds were plenty and super comfortable, and all amenities like shampoo, makeup wipes, extra towels, hair dryers, etc were all provided.
Kitchen was stocked with a welcome supply of snacks and coffee.
There were four of us for this weekend but this house could have easily housed many more. We'd absolutely recommend for a good jumping off point to explore Louisville.
The location of this rental was terrific. We were within 10/15 minutes of downtown, where 'Whiskey Row' is located. It made the Ubers cheap and quick. The rental was clean and spacious. We cooked some meals there with no problems/missing items. The pillows were a little flat, but it was no issue considering how tired we all were. The manager was easy to get in contact with and was helpful when we experienced some issues with the website. The area was a little loud at night and shady, but I never felt unsafe.
It was Great. The house had alot of character, the brick on some of the interior walls, high ceilings. The downstairs area & bedrooms very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. Not on top of each other.
Enjoyed a quick trip to Louisville. This home is better then described. It is lovely and the hosts have thought of everything a guest may need! The area is a bit loud it was the 4th of July week so perhaps itâs quieter at other times. Would highly recommend this home and this host!
I booked a three night stay based on high ratings for this property. The location is convenient and the owner was very nice and easy to contact. Everything else did not live up to the high ratings. The neighborhood is in the process of recertification but much of the neighborhood is still rundown with questionable people roaming. We tried to walk after dinner the first night but quickly realized we felt unsafe. The house has been somewhat updated but stills needs a lot of work and better cleaning. The worst part of the property is the constant loud traffic noise that is as loud at 3:00 am as it is at 3:00 pm. Oak street is apparently a connector road used for commercial trucks to access interstate I-65 all day and all night. The house is only a couple of blocks from I-65 and again constant traffic noise is heard from the interstate. We moved from the primary bedroom to a bedroom at the back of the house the second night. We used two white noise apps on each side of the bed and used ear plugs in hopes of getting some sleep. This only helped slightly. We were so uncomfortable with the bad neighborhood, the constant excessive loud noises and inability to sleep we made the decision to leave after the second day. It was worth losing a days rent to get out of this situation. I think the owner has good intentions and tries very hard to be a good host with supplying snacks, coffee, toiletries, water etc. but this doesnât compensate for all the other issues of the property.
