Good communication and comfortable rooms. Tricky to find in a car but thats Lucca for you! Breakfast was italian and delicious.

We were actually along the road from where we thought we had booked.
We had breakfast (very good) in a nearby restaurant. Although in the heart of the town, the very effective double glazing cut out all the street noise. Solo travellers should be aware that they might not see or speak to anyone at the property during their stay.Make sure your knees can cope with the stairs!
