Excellent location in Old Town!! Very close to the Chapel Bridge, lots of restaurants, the train station, and Lake Lucerne. We stayed there for 5 nights and took a few day trips, so it was great to be within walking distance of the train station. The hotel was really nice and clean, and the staff were helpful.

The location of the Hotel as far as proximity to the train station and ease of getting to restaurants and shopping is great. Other than that I found it to be just average. The front desk crew was ok, but not super helpful. In other words they did their job, but nothing else. Our room wasn’t ready until a bit after 3pm, which we had to ask a couple of times about its readiness. The room was small and the bathroom smaller. The shower only had a hand held shower head. If you didn’t hand hold the shower head it just sprayed straight out all over the bathroom. We also had a hard time using the air conditioner, it was old style and we couldn’t get clear instructions to use. We did finally figure it out on our last night. Additionally they offer that if you don’t opt for daily room cleaning you can get a drink voucher for the bar. Although we opted for no daily room cleaning, no voucher was offered/given.

The staff were absolutely amazing, quite helpful and also friendly. The room was immaculate with a lot of attention to little but useful things such as magnifying mirror in the toilet and other mirrors outside. The coffee in the room was so delicious. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a central location very close to everything.

road was under reconstruction, but managed with gooswill. only flaw was it being the first 4 star hotel ever stayed in (numerous, i'm 86!) where the copious menu not available in english causing delays to the taff and us.

Great location and well kept!

The hotel was within a 5 minute walk to the train station with shops nearby. It was walking distance to the river area as well. Great breakfast selection! Giving 4/5 stars given the room was small.

The wifi signal was not strong enough to reach my room - the connection would drop in and out on my phone, and wouldn't connect to my laptop at all. In the end, I had to do work in the lobby which was not ideal. The staff were unable to move me into another room as they were fully booked. They did compensate me with a free breakfast and 2 complimentary drinks. But for a 4-star hotel, I expected better.
