The Vacation Farmhouse is the perfect location if you are looking for a great place to connect with your family and friends. This house has been used for family reunions, fishing retreats, work trips, slumber parties, baby/bridal showers and more. This house has been used for family reunions, fishing retreats, work trips and other large gatherings. This house is nestled on 50 acres surrounded by beautiful Pine and Oak trees and two large fishing ponds. Downtown Lufkin, TX is less than 10 minutes away. Lake Sam Rayburn, the largest lake located entirely in Texas, is an 8-mile drive on Hwy 103 E.
The space:
This 2-story brick home with a large front porch and back porch gives you plenty of space to enjoy the outdoor scenery. There is a spacious living room, a large study and a cozy sunroom. This home has several areas if you need your privacy, but also has plenty of room for entertaining large groups.
Guest access:
There is plenty to do while staying at the Farmhouse. Enjoy a dip in the pool or cook up your favorite meal using the BBQ pit. Maybe you prefer an outdoor game of corn hole or take a stroll along the 50-acre property. Do you like to fish? Then try your hand at fishing in one of the 2 large ponds. Or just sit and relax on one of the two porches.
Other things to note:

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Take all dirty linens and towels to the laundry room. Start a full load of laundry before leaving.
If you have several bags of trash, please use the large trash dumpster located at the RV park, directly across from the pool.
When leaving, turn all A/C units to 78° in warmer months and 66° in cooler months.
