Jag fick vĂ€nta lĂ€nge i receptionen pĂ„ att bli incheckad dĂ„ receptionisten var pĂ„ baksidan för att röka, bemöttes ganska avmĂ€tt och utan ursĂ€kt. Vi bodde en trappa upp, en vĂ„ning som verkligen skulle behöva renoveras för att nĂ„ dagens hotellstandard. VĂ€ldigt slitet. FrĂ„n den flĂ€ckiga heltĂ€ckningsmattan till de repiga plastglasen. Trots det tilltagna priset sĂ„ kĂ€ndes rummet mer som ett lite frĂ€schare vandrarhem Ă€n ett hotellrum. Storleken pĂ„ rummet var dock bra och utsikten Ă€r ju fantastisk! Vi hade bokat middag i restaurangen och för första gĂ„ngen i mitt liv skicka tillbaka maten (lite med grĂ„ten i halsen, men den var faktiskt oĂ€tlig). Serveringspersonalen var dock enastĂ„ende och försökte att kompensera oss med god service och reducerat pris.

Receptionen gjorde jobbet, men inte mera. Vi behövde hjÀlp med kyls/frys till medicin som skulle hÄllas i kylskÄp. Det kunna man inte hjÀlpa med. DÄ jag sjÀlv frÄgade om jag kunna anvÀnda kyl/frys pÄ den intilliggande campingen gick det bra. Men det blev en springande fram och tillbaka. Jag tyckte att det var dÄlig service och vi har aldrig förut blev nekat att deponera medicinen i kylskÄp pÄ nÄgot hotell. I övrigt saknade mÄnga bland reception/restaurang personalen den professionella vÀnlighet som man oftast möter pÄ hotell. I restaurangen fanns a la carta i den dyra Ànda.I bland fanns kvÀllsmeny, men den var ocksÄ dyr och inte riktigt vÀrd priset. Det var inte möjligt att bestÀlla en rÀksmörgÄs eller liknande. Frukosten var OK, men inget mera. Rummen var fina. I bra skick och fin utsikt över Storforsen.

Trevligt hotell med makalös vy mot Storforsen

Man blev helt tagen av att stÄ pÄ balkongen och se Storforsen. Avslappnat trots mÄnga som bodde pÄ hotellet och pÄ campingen intill. Man kunde koppla av. Rummet var rymligt men utan charm. Plus för att man fick eget tÀcke. Minus för att det var varmt pÄ rummet och ingen ac. Restaurangmaten pÄ kvÀllen var medelmÄttig och dyrt. Frukosten var mycket bra och jÀttegod Àggröra.

Fint lÀge med Storforsen som mÀktig bakgrund till hotellet. Vi reste med hund och blev tilldelade ett hundvÀnligt rum. DessvÀrre fick inte hundar vistas nÄgonstans pÄ hotellet (förutom pÄ rummet). Detta försvÄrade matsituationerna om man har en hund som blir stressad att vara ensam pÄ nya stÀllen.

Fantastisk utsikt!

Hotellet och rummet bra pÄ alla sÀtt med ett undantag. Restaurangpersonalen var mycket vÀnlig men svÄr att kommunicera med. Drinken Vargtass var okÀnd för dem och nÀr ena gÀsten bad att fÄ slippa forellrom pga allergi fick den andra inte heller nÄgon rom. Maten var dock vÀldigt god
