Sweet rural location

Great Stay-Great Fishing
Posted Nov. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was our third stay at this cabin on the Johnson. The new steps up to the loft are a vast improvement over the old ladder. Quality and cleanliness continue to be of the highest standard. The kitchen is well stocked and overall the cabin is very comfortable, including the beds. And then there is the fishing...we had a really spectacular number of salmon and brown trout in the waters. You can never time it right every year, but this year we hit it just right. The result was lots of fish caught by all five of us. We definitely be back next fall.

Relaxing weekend getaway

Family Reunion Trip
Posted Jul. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayAnother fantastic stay at Katie’s cabin. This was our 2nd stay. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The beds provide restful sleep, and the kitchen is well stocked. The property is incredible. The well maintained hiking trails make it so easy to get around the property and to Johnson Creek for great fishing. One of my favorite spots is the back porch swing. The cabin sits on top of a rise and you can view the property and the pond from the swing. Communication with Katie was excellent. We were delighted when she brought us a replacement light bulb and shared a few moments with us. Since we have family who live in this area, we look forward to staying here again.

Amazing Cabin and Host
Posted Jun. 23, 2023 on HomeAwayWow! Our trip could not have been better. This cabin was amazing and met/exceeded our expectations.
We had children that kept busy outdoors exploring, fisihing, kayaking, bon fires, etc...and had a great time. I walked the well kept trails every day. This cabin had EVERYTHING we needed. I packed "just in case" items i never used.
Our host Katie was just as amazing and responded to our inquiries immediately.
Thank you Katie for sharing your beautiful cabin with strangers. Our family is grateful and we pray to come back often.

Upstate trip
Posted Mar. 12, 2023 on HomeAwayWe stayed at the cabin in the winter and it was perfect. 40 private acres is amazing. The cabin was perfect for our family. The pond, trails, creek and hills were all great and provided us with plenty to do right on property. We finally got some snow so we could try out the sleds on the hills and had so much fun. The owner was easy to contact and set up an additional day so we could enjoy the snow.

Creek Cabin
Posted Nov. 21, 2022 on HomeAwayVery nice cabin on a secluded property. Used it for our annual fishing trip and everything was very clean and as described. We have been staying at different property’s for past 10 years and this was the best so far.
