This hostel is next to the bus ticket counter which was very convenient for us. All the restaurants are nearby. 5mins walk to the train station. They did not have trash can in the room. No bath mats, so the bathroom floor was dirty and watery after our shower. We asked them for the floor mat but we were not provided. We paid 60soles more to extend the stay by 5 hours. You could leave your bags at the check in counter after your check out, if you have plans to shop or roam around before your train departs.
one thing that I observe was one of the table in between the bed was broken needed to fix and was abandoned kind off, we could not use.
Otherwise was good, good location and central. Also for the price I think it was ok.
The staff are all to familiar with their clients needing to get up early to hike Machu Picchu and offer a bag breakfast that they give you the night before. The beds were very comfortable and the place had good wifi. For the price I paid per night I cannot complain about the small stuff. If you need some training before heading up to Machu Picchu, just walk up and down the stairs a few times haha.
The hotel is in a very central location making it easy to get the bus to Machu Picchu and walking from train station. The staff was very helpful, even watched our stuff after we check out while we were in Machu Picchu all day. They offer a good massage for those who does want to after the trip up.
They have a lot of restaurants near by and shops,
