Fend for yourself kind of hotel... unfriendly staff. Room facilities are not as described; provided a kettle with slimy insides but you won't need to use it anyway as there is no tea/coffee/milk/mugs in the room. No explanation re food outlet (in hotel next door) or any explanation or welcome of any kind.

The room was very dirty, the staff were rude, they put a plastic cup for a tea in a 4 start hotel, there is not heating system or air conditioning. When I complain they refuse to provide any conform. Also Expedia didn’t help me with this at all. Definitely this is not a 4 start hotel at all so do not waste your money

It is an excellent hotel. Room was too hot, couldn’t figure out how to improve it with the thermostat so we opened the window. Very quiet. First attempt on the WiFi didn’t work but it fixed itself after a bit. Cafeteria just down the way has good food for old Americans who eat and sleep early.

The Axor Feria is a great airport Hotel. The shuttle is convenient and easy to find at the airport. The hotel emailed me good directions two days before arrival. Unsolicited. It is somewhat punctual . Within 10 minutes. . The shuttle is absolutely punctual from the hotel to the airport. Every 30 minutes beginning at 7 am. Pickup times at the airport are every 30 minutes except for late arrivals after 10 I believe . They try to be on an exact schedule from the airport but that is impossible. My. bus departure happened to be at 15 before the hour from terminal 4 which is a good 15 minute drive from Terminals 1, 2 , and 3. So 1, 2 and 3 were on the hour. Front desk is efficient and smart. Very helpful . They spent 10 minutes in the morning planning my route to the Prado Art Museum. ( They were not busy at 8 am. ) After looking at the metro changes and bus rides and changes and charges and taxi fare they decided that the best plan was to take a taxi from in front of the hotel for 25 Euros. 15 minutes. They were right. (There is a taxi stand in front. ) Breakfast was plentiful and good and free with long hours of service. The hotel gives you a free liter of water every day and room service is every day. They gave me a sack breakfast at 6;45 on the second day I was there because the buffet breakfast opened at 7 and I had a 7 am shuttle to the airport which left at 7: 01. I will stay there again. The hotel is very quiet and very clean and extra modern.
