Beautiful older building, well-maintained. Lovely wooden doors. Typically Spanish looking.

Great location! Walls paper thin & bathroom tiny!
Staff were friendly, room was clean but very dark with not much natural light. The walls were paper thin, we could hear people cough, sneeze and fart in the rooms next door. At one point we thought a laughing lady was in our bathroom! The bathroom was so small, like a cupboard! The bath was half the size of a normal bath (never seen anything like it) and when you sat on the toilet the sink was over your legs!
Other than that.... a great location.
Excellent customer service. Jonathan, Maria Isabella, and Oscar were very friendly and helpful. This is an affordable location within walking distance to many great restaurants, museums, and other must see sites in Madrid. No need to take a taxi or rent a car if staying here.

Ideal for New Year in Madrid
Turned up at 1am and there was a 15euro late fee which I thought was understandable.
The receptionist did not speak much english, luckily my Spanish friend was on hand to help out. The room was more than ideal as I was travelling independently and meeting friends in Madrid.
The room was clean, although predominant noise came from the pipes at times when neighbouring rooms were having showers etc. and you could hear a lot of movement in the corridor.
Wifi was not working in the rooms which was a massive let down, ended up spending around 10gb of data during the days recovering from the nights.
Overall good for the price and time of year.
Good option near sol. Since I booked over a very busy weekend price was very high relative to the budget accommodation but with their normal rate is ok
The locatin of the venue excellent, into walking distance to main attractions from the center, five mintues to the Prado boulevard. The cleaning ok, staff ok. The bathroom extremely small, with no window, toilet paper places over the dust-bin, and a lot of noise during the night. You could hear virtually EVERYTHING from the other rooms, even people walking on the stairs of the building.
Service: We were checked in by a lady at the front desk on the 1st floor (the hotel is spread over 2 floors). She was extremely helpful in answering our questions. We had a bit of trouble with the wi-fi but she helped us out pretty quickly.
Location: Great location! It's a short walk to most of the popular areas- Puerta de Sol, Plaza Espana, San Miguel market etc. It is on a side/ quiet street though.
Rooms: The room was definitely on the smaller side- probably to be expected in a city like Madrid. If you have a decent amount of luggage, maybe look for a bigger room- we ended up stepping over our suitcases to get anywhere. Also, the bed we got was definitely not a Queen- felt more like a Full size and creaked everytime you turned which was not comfortable.
Bathrooms: Decent, clean bathrooms. Shower was not very good.
Overall, decent value for money. A more comfortable bed would have made my stay!
Stayed here for 4 nights recently and was very disappointed.ypu get what you pay for but don't expect more than a basic room. Air conditioning does not work properly and was actually taped up on our arrival and smells you have a fan on ceiling to move air. no daylight comes in room window,no kitchen facility, no kettle facility room but also no shop nearby at all to go and buy water to keep in room. Bedding not changed in 4 days. You request whether you want make to go in each day by hanging a door sign up. We said not needed one day but they still entered the room and the air conditioning switched off each day. Rooms very small and bed uncomfy. Bathroom so small you cannot move when you come out shower. Be careful on wooden staircase as you enter the building as the wood is bowing due to age.
Very disappointed and would not stay here again.
The hotel is situated in a quiet street 10-15 mins walk away from the metro and bus stops and main central bars restaurants. Clean and good service.
