The host was extremely helpful when we needed help and even made a call for us to help with train ticket issues since we do not speak Portuguese well enough. He also sent maps on how to get to a few places. Again very convenient and helpful. I will say it is a little bit of a drive to get to a grocery store. There were some ants and flies but you are next to a farmer’s field and in the countryside so it is normal and to be expected. I would definitely return there and recommend it if you find yourself needing a place in that area.
