The trek to our room was bad. We took the lift. Good. Then....we had to transverse a long corridor, then through anothher door, up a short flight of stairs, then another corridor! Maybe invest in another lift? Breakfast was Excellent - and plentiful. Our room was very nice. Breakfast staff were good.

Room and facilities: Coffee maker, kettle and initial supplies for beverages good..mini fridge and safe very useful. Cleanliness of room and bathroom excellent.. bathroom supplies ( soaps, shampoo etc. excellent). Hot water perhaps too hot.. difficulty setting safe shower temperature. Breakfast buffet very good variety of continental, fresh fruit and full english style cooked ingredients. Bar/ Restaurant a little understaffed when very busy with coach parties.. our 2nd evening dinner marred by undercooked vegetables.. returned to kitchen but came back much the same.. the accompanying Salmon was very good however, as was the Fish and chips. We will return..

The only let down and its a very minor one in the room me and my girl friend was in unless you bring your own usb plug there was no usb socket in the plug points in the room but like i say that was to me a very minor point

Very late check in , which was not my fault

Room was very late , to be ready for me , would have been nice to have offered some sort of compensation or something to make up for it , says that they was busy , ( wedding on last night ) it’s not my fault , bathroom small , room was tried , think I had the worst view, over looking the roft tops , staff was nice , breakfast was ok

Stock in rhe bar was awful, ran out of so much stuff, no tonic, no Southern Comfort, 1 bottle of Pinot Grigio. Menu choice is shocking. Like a pub menu. Only thing I fancied on the menu eas fish and chips, they didn't have it. So had the Aberdeen Angus burger. It was awful, only ate half, my nephew didn't eat his at all after 1 mouthful. One of the party had salmon but couldn't eat the broccoli as it was so hard. Sanitary bin in ladies was overflowing which is a bio hazard. Carpet in dining room had loads of stains. Settee had a hole in the material exposing the foam which is a fire hazard. We have been coming here every year for 8 years and it has gone so downhill. Will not be staying again.

Room tiny and my food (gammon steak),was just thickish bacon. It took 50 minutes to arrive with other tables (4) served before us when in after us. Staff were unhelpful.
