Pretty air-conditioned Provencal farmhouse in Maillane (13), summer kitchen and fenced and heated swimming pool, pets allowed (1).
Ideally situated around 15 kilometres between Avignon and Les Baux-de-Provence, this house, with its three air-conditioned bedrooms upstairs, has been designed for a relaxing holiday. But there's no shortage of places to visit. Arles is a city of art and history, situated on the Rhone Delta, which owns 2/3 of the Camargue and is 25 km away. And Gordes, an extraordinary hilltop village in the Luberon, is just 45 km away.
INTERIOR
The entrance hall contains a separate WC and the stairs leading to the sleeping quarters on the upper floor. To the left is the suite, with a king-size bed and adjoining shower room with private WC. On the right, the fireside lounge with TV, table football and garden access connects with the kitchen-diner, with the back kitchen to the right and the laundry room to the left. The upper level comprises a bathroom, a shower room, a separate WC and three air-conditioned bedrooms. One has a double bed, another has single bunk beds and the third has a large double bed. There is a mosquito net on every window, while the suite, the kitchen and the three upstairs bedrooms each have a large ceiling fan for your enhanced comfort.
EXTERIOR
This is a property with large grounds, all laid to lawn and bordered by natural hedges. Adjoining the kitchen is a large covered terrace equipped with a large ceiling fan. A built in barbecue and pizza oven make it easy to enjoy the outdoors. The heated, fenced pool has a small bench in the water, 1.20 m deep, all around. In the pool area, you'll also find an outdoor shower and an enclosed WC.
OUR OPINION
You'll immediately feel at home in this holiday home, built in the Provencal style, with its well-equipped kitchen and adjoining terrace with barbecue and direct access to the pool. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday in a typical Provencal village.
